It's some company about giving you a free cell phone. My husband answered when they called early this morning and woke up our whole family. He was too asleep to remember their name. I hope they do call again, so I can ask to be put on their do not call list!!

A guy with a thick East Indian accent claiming to be "Victor Jones" (yeah, right) calling from some wireless company. The guy sounded like he was calling from overseas because there was an "echo" when I replied (as in I could hear my words fed back to me) so I had some fun with this guy spouting gibberish and playing with the echo until the guy gave up. With any luck I cost him a few bucks in long distance charges.

Called offering free phone. Already had my last name, postal code, phone number and address. Asked for sin and date of birth. Gave it and then called the number they gave me. Didn't work. Called Bell. It wasn't them. Police did nothing. Called number on call display. It was a fax number. I got scammed.

Bell ExpressVU telemarketing called to offer us service from this number. It was obvious that it was from a call center in India and they were very rude when I asked why they were calling if I was on the do not call list.
