Received a call from this number and the caller ID said "WASHINGTON MUTU" as in WAMU the bank.  When I tried to call the number back an automated voice message said the number was not in service. WTF!

Caller ID said "Washington Mutu".
Did not answer.
4-1-1 says number is in San Antonio.
White pages reverse search, unpublished or unavailable land line.
Tried to return call, got fast busy signal, like numbers which have been disconnected.

Won't respond to future calls.

They've been calling me for DAYS.

Complained to Washington Mutual, and they said they can't do anything.  Supposedly I have to call my local law enforcement.

I WORK for local law enforcement, and they can't do anything about these calls.

Received a rebo-call from 1-210-247-5904 at 10:44AM Pacific on Tuesday, 3/18/08. The recorded message said they were calling because I recently visited their web-site, and included some toll-free number for me to call if I had any questions or needed anything not covered on their web-site. I just hung-up and sent WAMU an E-Mail describing the incident and telling them I don't want the calls anymore for any reason. I then tweaked the phone number of record to be my Google Grand Central number, so I can block/spam/screen anymore calls that might actually come from WAMU legitimately. grandcentral.com is the best!

i also got a call from the 210-247-5904 and when i picked it up there was no one there, so i hung up and put the number in as a search and pulled up your in put then called the toll free 866 #. they did answer and it was washington mutal fraud dept. i had them try to locate the phone # that had called me and look at my account and they were just baffeled they said they could not pull that phone # and they was nothing on my account to say why  they would have call. so they just don't know why or what. but they 866 # is lagit!

These A-holes called my house I didn't know who they were and wasn't around to answer the call anyway. I'm glad I found this page refering to this number and found out it was a scam. Picked up call heard a beep and nothing else.

Left a message on my phone to call 1-866-513-9186 regarding a problem with a bank account.  CID showed Washington Mutual Bank.  I tried to call the 210 number back and it did not connect, knowing it was a scam I thought I would try the 866# to see what they had to say and it was a message stating that the 866 number was no longer valid and for $5.00 they would transfer me to the new number, obviously trying to get credit card info.

Missed call on cell phone.  When I try to call the number back it does not connect.  I wish someone would fix this issue or find out who this company is.

I receive two to three calls per week from this number on my cell phone.  No message is ever left and when I answer, they hang up.  I am on the "do not call" list, but apparently it doesn't apply to a**holes.  If you call this number back directly, it is designed to drop the call and does not connect.

Received a call at 12:45pm, at my customer support line, asking for Joseph Adams.  When I said there was nobody at my organization they immediately hung up.
