The number 20-268-9578 has been calling us a lot, today I answered the phone some man with foreign accent so bad I could barely understand what he said, he said he was from the US Federal Land or Grand, couldn't get him to tell me which, told me our Gov wants to give me $9,800, then mentioned something about a Goldman survey, asked him if I had to do the survey to get the $, he said no, told him I couldn't understand him and hung up.

The company stated they work for windows operating systems..(not Microsoft)...it is a SCAM..period block there number or do as I did and tell them you work for an anti fraud company investigating Telemarketing scams..they hung up real quick..this company calls using different scams...REPORT THEM IMMEDIATELY...

Caller ID showed "Novatel".  Obvious robocall.  Caller ID'd himself as "Paul Wood"; said he'd contacted me before.  Bogus claim!  Construction/remodel telemarketing to DNC Registry number.

Scams...Maggots. 2 years, I've been puttin up with this crap.

This number called me today, missed the call but as it was a Texas number I was suspecting it was a dodgy caller intend on blocking the number :)

As long as it is. It an unknown numbe then yes you can. Just pat the phone icon then recents then tap the i scroll down and block

I received call from this number (+1 210 249 0540 TX) to my mobile. I am in the UK & answered as I work for an international telco & I do sometime receive calls from USA & other internationals. As soon as I answered the call disconnected. Have now added to my blocked numbers. Timewasters.

Caller is now selling kitchen/bathrooms under a government scrapping scheme.
I have received similar calls before. Same recorded voice. This is the first time the caller ID has shown a real number though and not just "international"

i have been receiving calls from this number and when i checked it appears that it is a scam.

I ge this call 3 or 4 times daily no one answers and it will ring 3 times if I don't answer and hang up. When I do answer no one will speak. What is up with this. I'm on the do not call list also . Also get calls from some one who is called Unavailable, also calls from Louisville Ky. this goes on every day of the week, I'm so tired of this. wish I could block this from my phone.

I received a call on my house phone from this number. They never leave a message and I never pick up. It shows up on my caller Id as "NOVATEL"

Looks like someone's been selling mobile phone numbers and land lines. Got a missed call from these today and tried calling back.
Looking at the thread going back to 2007/2008 its some kind of auto-dialler for a hacking or sales scam.

Same as below.  It comes from Tx.  I didn't answer, then checked it out on this site.  Just block it, is my advice.

I'm in the UK and just had a missed call from this number. Was curious as it came up saying a Texas area code which was why I Googled it.

Really want them to call back now after reading these comments - my other half works in IT too so I'm sure between us we could string them along for a bit before hanging up!

Just received a call from this number, Im in Wales, an American telling me my computer was infected with a virus. I know this is a scam because Ive had a couple of these calls before, once even calling their bluff, they hate it when they realise you are the one stringing them along and playing them at their own game. I pretended to be sat at my computer doing everything they were telling me to do when in fact I was drinking a cup of tea and trying to watch the TV. Number now blocked!

Just had a call from this number. American bloke. Wanted to speak to house owner, when I asked who was calling he claimed to be from Microsoft and that there was a problem with our computer. I said that we dont have a computer, and he hung up. I knew it was a scam as soon as he said where he was from. They will try to gain access to your pc and infect with a virus, then try to ask for big money to fix it.

I have had six phone calls from this number with no messages left.i want a receipt by email of the costs the doctor charges me whilst aboard Thomson cruise. cabin number 4007.

Just received call let it go to ansaphone  no message left however flashed up as internal call very strange as this is only phone on line.

This woman called my home twice and asked to speak to my husband. I asked her why she needed my husband, and she said that he wasn't my husband he was her husband. What a crazy woman! I hung up on her!

They called me at 7:00 o'clock sharp. The first man said there was a problem with my computer. After going through steps like typing in "eventvwr" on the <fn+r> key, it showed I had many errors and yellow caution signs. Eventually, the first man (he had a very thick accent)  told me he would connect me with a second man who was a "professional" with computers or something like that. Anyway, he made me search up: www.telaza.info. He told me to connect my computer to his, but (very) fortunately for me, I didn't have internet access for that computer. I ALMOST GOT SCAMMED BECAUSE OF THEM, AND I WAS CLUELESS THE WHOLE TIME! In retrospect, I should have noticed that I was being conned. SOMEONE, CALL THE POLICE OR SOMETHING, AND SHUT THEM DOWN!
