Got a text message on my phone from these jokers that I needed to set up an msn instant messenger account and add someone for a job interview. Rose International? I never submitted a resume there. Don't waste your time. Trust your instincts and always do your research before getting back to anybody. If it seems off the wall, it probably is.

Call from this number(210-255-3192) and my caller ID had "ATT." Just like the number that called me yesterday(989-220-3853). Had thought that it might be AT&T and answered the phone yesterday. No one on the other end and then just got a dial tone. Ticked me off so I did call AT&T to find out what they wanted. You know the real phone number that I get with my bill each month.(800-288-2020) After being put on hold for over 10 minutes I finally got a REAL person and told her about the call and wanted to know why they were calling me. She said, that the number that had called was not from AT&T at all. I asked what she could do about it and was told there wasn't anything AT&T could do about it. Because of SPOOFING!!!!!! the number. And that I needed to file a complaint with the FCC on the matter. I told her that was exactly what I was doing while talking to her. AND NOW TONIGHT I get this call from this number.
 Didn't answer the phone this time, let my answering machine take the call. No message left just dead silence! I have put both numbers on block but had to remove 2 numbers just to put these jerks on block. Have been doing this for over 2yrs. now. Getting to be a real pain! I think the phone companies don't give a D_m, all they want is are monthly payments. THE BIG MIGHTY DOLLAR! Forget about customer service!

P.S.:   The letters that you have been getting recently from AT&T U-verse offering upgrade and a $100 reward card are probably also from the same outfit and probably also bogus.  

The caller calls several times a day and claims to be AT&T reporting that Uverse is now avail in my neighborhood and that my DSL service will no longer be supported.  Knows my name and DSL speed and wants to upgrade me.  Asks what I am paying now (shouldn't he know?).  Says he can match or beat my current charge AND provide 12 MPS download instead of 6 MPS.  Then wants to know my Social Security number.  Then provides 4 security questions and asks me to pick one and provide the answer.  Then asks me for my birthdate.  Then asks me to give him a 4 digit security code.  I provided none of this information.  It sounds BOGUS.  I think he is phishing.

Got a call from ATT trying to sell me U-Verse.  Not sure if the call was a SCAM or not, as the guy on the phone was of a foreign accent, and you could hear yelling in the background.

He was unable to respond to technical questions, keeping things high level and was trying to get you to say YES.  Never Say Yes on the phone to anyone!

Dialed the # back, it seems to have gone to an ATT Center.

Call waiting beeped while I was on a long-distance call.   I checked other line but no response.  I had been on the long distance call a good while. I have unlimited long distance from ATT. I wonder if they use a bogus call to get some long-winded talkers like me to cut their calls short. Is anyone else getting calls from this number while they are on a long-distance call?

Your best defense as always is to educate yourself, your family (especially the seniors), and others about these "monsters".

Received a call from this number and it said ATT with any area code. Normally I don't answer this type of call but I was really expecting a call from AT&T so I answered. They said that they were setting up new customers for U-verse and I told them that service wasn't available in my area because I had just checked on it. He protested and I hung up. Then I called the 800 AT&T number and asked them about it. They agreed with me and said it was a SCAM.

It is NOT the att company.  They are spammers, phishers, some one trying to commit fraud and take your personal information. Todau I told them to take me off the calling list, but she said it will take 30 days to update, Bull**** !  Don't have much hope that they will not just call again tomorrow.

This number calls my work phone number at least 5 times per week.

if u gave them your information not knowing . what could i do to keep them from using my information

i gave this person all of my information thinking that i was getting a bundle for the internet service and home and unverse service so that i can lower my bill. i was told i had to get a credit check to be eligible for u verse and felt something was wrong but only after i gave up my personal information . i am so upset with myself i dont know what to do because i should have known better who do i need to call to find out if  have been scammed some one i need some feedback\

Someone called within the last three months on a daily basis.

I answer and it's just a bunch of static noise.  They call a couple times a day about noon & 6-8:00 pm

Received several calls from this number.  I didn't pick up.  I am on the "No Call" list.

Extremely annoying!!! Over 30 calls from these folks over the past 2 months. I'm about ready to pull my hair out!

I've been getting multiple calls from this number and as many people have already stated, there is nothing but silence.  It is VERY annoying.  Even on the rare occasion that I answer the call, again, nothing but silence!  I have added them to a reject list.  I wish there was a way to stop this!

Whoever these people are should be stopped!  They call nearly every day, and sometimes multiple times per day.  I've answered it, but they say nothing and then when the "leave messages" there isn't anything there!  This is so annoying!  I have added them to my "reject" list!

These idiots will not stop calling. Trying to get me to switch back to them. (AT&T). I tell them NO and they still call at least 3 times a day. I am sick with brain cancer and want to be left alone. I feel like just having my phone disconnected. What part of NO and DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN don't they understand?

You call me every day sometimes 2 or 3 times a day and I don't like it.  Stop calling.
