This number called my house and claimed to be from Microsoft and that my computer was hacked. I hung up on him twice. I looked up the area code and its from San Antonio, Texas.

If you are in Canada there is NO Don't Call List - I asked the Police & they said they had information that it was sold 6 months after the program started to the highest Telemarket bidder. I've had it out with Bell Canada several times & there is nothing they can do - the crooks are so much smarter.... they use cancelled, but not yet reassigned number & use call forwarding. One time I got a call from a number I knew & it was a telemarketer..... I asked the owner of the number & they said they changed their phone number a few weeks ago & that it hadn't been reassigned......they call from overseas & bounce off another number - cancel landline & get a secure cell phone & really crap on your service provider if you get 'spam' phone calls ... and good luck

Just got another call (caller id shows valero energy) called it back and this time it rang thru and a message came on saying they were Valero energy and their caller id had been hacked. They did have the authorities working on it...so maybe this will stop..ok they will likely find another way but maybe slow them down.

The only way to stop these calls is to have the number blocked by your provider or change your phone number. These are your only choices.

once they get your number they will never ever ever ever ever stop calling you I've been going through this for about 15 years try to get the police involved, they will never ever ever ever ever stop.

This person calls every day and we tell him not to call here any more. This is a pharmacy (onlne pharmacy) who bugs people.

Same here... For the past few days, I've received a half dozen calls. NEVER answer any calls if you do not know who's calling. It only reinforces that it's a valid number and they will share/sell your number to other a-holes trying to sell you something, usually drugs. I ran a check thru INTELIUS and it says the number belongs to VALERO ENERGY COMPANY.
