(LMAO) Ok here is the deal i got a loan awhile back from mycashmax.com it was about $300.00 i was making good payments on a monthly basis, but i went to jail for a month and was unable to pay cash max the rest of the money, three months after i got out i get a call from a Indian guy saying he was from Anderson And Associates Law Firm and if i didn't pay him $308.80 then cash max will take me to court and sue me for an amount over $2000.00 I told the guy to transfer me to someone that speaks better English i got transfer d 3 different times to people with the same voice I told him i would pay him $100.00 every week till amount is payed off today i was suppose to make first time payment but the 2104016499 number which the law firm called me from wouldn't let me call back with my Verizon cell phone so i searched the number on Google and came across this page i am typing on after reading it was a scam i decided to search to see if there was even such a Law Firm I came across this number (210) 928-9999 this number is to Anderson And Associates In San Antonio, TX I called the number and discussed the matter to a kind associate that works there she was not surprised on what i told her about the whole situation she said they get about 10 calls a month regarding a payment to the guy named Kevin that proclaims to work for that Firm she assured me that he is not a member from that business and that it is a scam she also connected me with the district attorney and his advise to me is to go to my local police department and file a complaint with that number and to never ever send money to them #1 if it is a legal matter it is your right to speak with a person that speaks the proper English #2 with situations like this you should receive a summons in the mail after i found out this information i called the scam number off of my company phone i said i wanted to make the payment and gave my name  (note the guy was suppose to call me at 2:00) the said they would be glad to take my payment before i gave them any more info i told them i found out this was a scam the guy then said wrong number and hung up i called the laddie back from the real A&ALF and she 3wayed the guy gave him her information and her place of business he got pissed then hung up lmao so do not send money take the steps i made always Google company names and places and verify it with the number received ask lots of questions and make sure they speak English. he's a scammer. he makes up stoies to scar you into sending money to him. they usually use tactics like; "you are wanted for fraudulent crimes". etc. my wife has been getting these calls and we just laugh at them and tell them to go to hell. they try every once in a while but they aren't convincing; plus they are calling from another country.  that number isn't in texas; it's in either jamiaca or haiti.

I filed a complaint with my local Sheriff's department, the FTC and put a Fraud alert on my credit report. Since I have told this "Kevin Anderson" that I checked with the San Antonio State Board to see if he was a member and if I could get his license number and found out that he was not an attorney I have not received another call, but when I called him prior to this miraculously the number was no longer Kevin Anderson but Mark Lopez and supposedly it was his cellphone number and had been for 4 years and when I said I would have to report him as well since I had talked to Kevin Johnson on that number several times, he began using some colorful language. If you receive a call from someone that says they are from a law firm and they give you your social security number and ask you to verify it begin to ask them questions and turn the tables on them because no legit company will say your complete social security number they would ask for you to verify it. I don't even do that now and I also don't provide them with information on a recorded line.

Called the number back and got a message that it was a magic jack number and they weren't available, red flag #1. Kevin called back started grilling him and he said he would connect me with the FBI we got disconnected, red flag #2, called back and someone else answered asked for Kevin Anderson and they told me he was on another call I told him I could hold and he said to call back in an hour and I said no I would hold then Kevin came on the line. Asked him which company was filing the lawsuit, what law firm he worked for, Anderson & Associates, asked for his bar license # said he didn't have to give that, red flag #3 and he started yelling at me to do what I had to do and he hung up on me. I then did some research on the web and found Anderson & Associates Law firm in San Antonio and contacted them and said this isn't the first time. So if you recieve a call like this record the call and document the number and contact the law firm.

Received a call from a gentleman named Kevin and that he was an atty said there was a lawsuit filed against me and going to court on Monday and if I had a lawyer. Told him I knew this was a fraudulent call and that I would report him to the District Attorney and he said he would connect me and I said no that if he called me again and I would report him for harassment. Out of curiousity I called the number back and it is a Magic Jack Number. If he really worked for a law firm I believe they would have real phone lines. Plus if there was a case being filed I believe I would have received a summons.

i got a call from this number claiming to be an attorney collecting for payday loans. He called me a Mother Fer, telling me he will arrest me its not fair what these people do to others. especially that indian accent they have and they read from a script to scare people. these people need to stop
