They call daily, block their number on your carriers website.

Got a few calls and hang ups. Today the foreigner with a thick accent said he was from the federal government. I said that the federal government wouldn't hire someone that couldn't be understood. The guy said f u and Hung up. F U very much scammer (just venting)

i also got a call just a bit ago i played there little game they wanted me to doodoo in there mouth! so i gave them my address and age because he said i would be getting a government grant for 7000 and gave me another number to call for sex for hellan jackson, he gave me some sort of control number to give her and asked if i had a bank account or visa or master card! i told him i dont pay for sex thats un lawful in the usa! but i figured id look up the phone number on here an see if anyone got stds from them because i didnt want to get scammed but im wondering how they would scam us anyway i dont think i will be calling them back!

Well I have done the phone job thing for years so I enjoy letting them go as far as they want.  Now the same guy called me and said I was approved for 7k and if I wanted it in cash or routed to my bank account. I elected for the cash. So he said I had to call another number and her name was Nicole Moore. Now I'm not the expert but I don't know mean middle easterners named nicole or moore. And he accent was even worst then the first guy. Now when I talked to her she said a hole bunch a stuff that I didn't understand. But what I did catch is that I would have to get the money from western union (big red flag). But in order to release the money I would have to pay them $310 first. So I asked for some liturature so I could show my lawyer and she said ok and hung up and never got a call again.

Keep getting calls from this number.  Answer it and keep saying hello with.no answer back.    Today got someone to answer me only for.   Them to hang u:p.

this number just finished calling me and i was really confused because i did not know what he was talking about. Im pretty scared now because he knew my full name and age. He said something about me getting grant money. now that i see all of these posts i feel retarded for giving some of my info, should i be worried?? :/

I have done the do not call on all my cell phones and my house phone, and guess what, they still it, I call the registry and report it, and guess what, it still happens. So what is going to work is ask them questions and they will hang up , every time.......

They called me twice today, first time was a hang up, second time an indian female rattled off a company name when I asked her to repeat it she hung up.

My husband answered the telephone and a man with an accent that sounded like a Caribbean accent talked to him from a very noisy 'boiler room' telephone calling center. He said something to him about a 'free $10,000 Government grant. The caller ID said Baptist Health System. He asked my husband how many years we lived at our address and said the address.My husband refused to answer and because the man was insistent and he had to hang up on him. A minute passed and the phone rang again, it was the same man, but this time I answered. He asked me the same thing, 'how many years have you lived at _____ and I told him I'm not answering anything he asks and what did he want? Then he insisted to speak to my husband which I told him was not going to happen.He was laughing and said to me 'this isn't your number, it is HIS number so put him on the phone!" Okay now I got hot and told him he has no right to ask anything and now it's become harassment.He actually told me that I was harassing 'him' because I refused to let him speak to my husband! I hung up, he called back. I told him do not call again and I will report his number. He laughed and told me to go ahead.I hung up, he called again but this time I didn't answer, The phone stopped ringing after 2 rings then it started to ring. Caller ID was his again.I didn't answer the phone. This was four calls of harassment from this man and his agency, whoever they are. Now I'm totally angry and will go to the ends of the earth to stop them. This is my first stop along my journey. Take my advice and keep his number and report it to any agency you have available. I added my number to the do not call list on the government website. As I type this report, my phone is ringing again, it's him. He rang it two times and stopped.Now I have to find out how to block their number entirely or this will go on all night. How the hell do i get them to stop calling me. same thing has happened to me and since i wouldnt give them any info they hung up on me or they asked me to many questions and i hung up. Even got one call from a lady and she kept asking for a vanessa i kept saying this is her and she just just saying "can i speak with a Vanessa" i kept saying this is her. Then she got pissed and said f*** this. haha so im guessing there was something with the call

Caller ID says "Baptist Hlth Sy", I didnt answer, message left on voice mail, "hello? hello? hello?"

got call from this number today. Says "Baptist Health Service" on caller-id. Lady started off telling me was calling from some USA government grant program. I asked why it said Baptist health service on caller-id and she hung up on me.. good bye

Although government grant scams have been around almost as long as the government itself, the majority of the sites being advertised today didn't exist before the November 2008 election.

?Free Government Grants?: Don?t Take Them For Grant-ed

i got a cal form this number and this guy, with what im going to call an indian accent, says he is calling from the united states government something and that i was awarded 20,000 in grant money and then started asking for my address hung up because I have not applied for grants yet, assumed it was a scam then

This is a Scam. Upon answering the telephone I knew it was the scammers. I let know that they were not going to get a single penny from me.

They hung up immediately.

Same as what happened to Ira. This # called my cell- I didn't answer- & no message.
When I punched this # into another database, 1 of the comments stated that this # called her eldery mother about ordering magazines. Then the guy asked her mother her age- she lied & told him 50-something (I don't remember the actual age she gave). He apparently said that was too young & hung up on her. When she tried calling back, no answer. Apparently this guy had an accent, too.
Sounds like more scammers trying to steal money from people.
