USAA... follow up call to home owners insurance quote.  USAA is a good company. Pay your bills and all no collection agents.  If you let them know that you need to miss a payment they are usually really good about it.

Actually, USAA doesn't harass people with solicitation calls. These calls are usually about updating insurance or stuff we need to know. USAA is alwats tops in customer service.

Hey mikey, I got a call from them earlier and there was no one there...i said hello a couple times but nothing, so i just waiting another 5 seconds or so and someone finally started talking...might just a problem with their calling system, cause i've never had that problem with verizon before.

This # is from USAA.  They start calling the day after a payment is due and won't stop.  They'll call all day/evening long.  Paying them will make the calls stop.

DO NOT PAY THEM LATE!  I made a payment 6 days late last March and I discovered they used it as an excuse to raise my rates.  Now they are charging me an additional $1400 a year.

By the way, I do NOT have USAA insurance and never will because they are jerks.  They are trying to sell me auto insurance.  I'm not late paying insurance.  This is telemarketing and I hope they are sued/fined out of existence.

USAA keeps calling about Auto Insurance and I keep telling them No, Stop Calling.  These idiots caused me no end of trouble when they held up a check deposit of mine 6 months ago.  They were very nasty about it too.  Moreover they refused to take responsibility for the damage they caused.  Ever since they have been total jerks, and this Auto Insurance thing is just the latest.  This company touts their customer service.  Unbelievable.

Great info - I know I'm late on my Auto Insurance and do have USAA - Question answered.  Also got a call from 210-456-1815.  Both times no msg.  This is fun.

Call came through on my cell phone - didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer it. There was a voicemail, but it was just a woman saying "hello?" and then sounds of a call center (lots of people talking) and then nothing.  I called back and it was an automated answering service saying "you have reached usaa...."  However, I do not, nor have I ever, have any accounts with USAA. Next time they call, I am going to pick up to see what they want.

I am purchasing a new house and they called at a reasonable time of day with questions regarding details of the home for insurance purposes.  I have been with USAA for many years now, using them for all my loan, credit card, banking, insurance, and investment needs.  They have never harassed me or called me multiple times, maybe because I meet my financial obligations.

They just called me and hung up. I use to have auto insurance, credit card and a couple of bank accounts with them. But no more. So not sure why they are calling and hanginging up when I answer.

I answered.  All they wanted was to verify my coverage because I have an inoperable vehicle.
