I have 4 calls to voice mail from this number trying to fax something to my unlisted cell phone.

Call was from Chase bank about my recent wires.

I just got a call from this number.  They left a message and it was Chase bank.  I had called Chase earlier and their research department was giving me a call back (they told me they would when I called).

I've been getting calls from 210-489-8590 on my CELL phone.  I don't know who they are and when I call back, get a hangup.

This is WaMu and for me, the call wasn't unsolicited. I requested someone above the call center manager contact me after a horrid phone call I had with a phone rep and his idiot manager. He left a message with a call back number that was different from the number on the caller ID, which is not that unusual. I work HR at a different bank, and the number that shows up on is the toll free number to the HR service center and not my direct line.

i just received a call from this number as well- they didn't leave a message.  they called my cell phone.  i'm sure i placed my number on a "do not call" telemarketing registry?? how did they get my number?

Leaves no message.
But calls every 5mins.

Someone from this same number keeps calling my house asking for a "justine", this is someone I never heard of and the guy on the phone will not listen when I say this. He keeps calling, today I blew a gasket and yelled at him and said some things I shouldn't have but he was warned.

What can I do if they keep calling after I told them not to because it's the wrong household? Who can I complain to?

I believe this call was from my bank - verifying a phone transfer I requested.  When I did the transfer I was advised I would most likly be receiving a call to verify the transaction.  I did not answer my call and then got a call with the ID of Texas on my land line and it was the person representing Chase.

This was a solicited call from Chase about an issue that I had. The first call was a bad connection with lots of noise (cited in earlier posts) in the background. They called back and left a message which I could barely hear.

Got a call from Tom Clanton of Chase Bank Corporate Compliance Office. The calling number was 210-489-8590. He said to call him back at 210-489-6796. He said he wanted to talk about "activity occuring in my checking account ending in" and then he gave the last four digits of my son's checking account. I have Magic Jack, so I have a recording of the call.

Just rec'd a call from this number. It was Chase Bank. I had called the general Chase Bank number earlier today to make a transfer to my mom's account in which they then put the request into a "que." The call from this number was just to verify the transfer.

Got a call from this number after requesting a WAMU manager call back regarding a conversation with a rude and unhelpful employee.

This number tries to fax my cell phone almost daily.  I have no acct with WaMu nor have I ever done business with them.

On unlisted cell phone number (however, I do have a credit card that was sold to WAMU).

No message left.

Note that my report is in August 2008, so it may be a totally different situation now.

I work for wamu and this is the number that shows up when we dial out from our call center in San antonio TX. Dont be worried.

Received a call back from our Washington Mutual account representative regarding opening a new checking account (which was our initial request). I did hear a lot of background noise as others have mentioned but I was also able to get through to the same person on a Washington Mutual 800 number. I'm not all that concerned about it.

Lady by the name of Kristy or Kristen called our home about Washington Mutual Checking Account Promotion.  While talking with her, there was loud shouting in the back ground and the line went dead.  We called back and we could not get through.  This sounds like someone was attempting to get personal information intending for fraudulent purposes.  BEWARE!!!

Called twice. Left a voice mail stating their name was (Donna?) Chris from a Washington Mutual loan office requesting information. Asked me to return the call to 866-252-2545 at which time they would "provide the information" on what this was about. No thanks. I'll visit the local branch to answer questions. Have a guess this may be bill collection in loan officers' clothing.

Rec'd call wtih same caller id.. it is Washington Mutual but the person leaving a message said to call back at a different #... It was a follow up to my call with WaMu representative but i gave them my office #, not my cell.  This email trail is making me think twice about returning the call - i'm not going to.

Got a call from some girl stating they needed call back on some account I recently opened as they had not heard from me after they mailed me some papers...I never applied for any account with WAMU. Message stated that account would be terminated if i did not respond. Who knows who this bogus phone number really is. it could be a phishing operations. Beware. Do not divulge any info to anyone.

I got a weird call today from this exact number that sounded like a male transvestite.  I could barely him/her (?) so I hung up.  Creepy!
