Wow the guy who called my home was so dang rude, it really pissed me off i wont be given them money again. All he had to do was tell me whom he was with and what this call was about,

this person making this phone call had called my house 4 times in a day and would not leave a message finaly I answered and asked for me by name  but i havnt given out this number to any one cause its not in my name if I do i give out my cell number

Texas State Troopers......soliciting.

Just called this number back after receiving several calls from them and they are using "Magic Jack" as their provider which is I believe $20 a year?  LOL...It says they are unavailable and you cannot leave a message.

At 6:11 PM I received this call from San Antonio.  Left no message, just hung up.

I just received a call from this number, the caller claimed to be representing the Texas State Troopers Assoc. asking for financial support.  I am a single parent w/kids; for the last ten+ years, I have been working 60 hours/week, never had a vaction or when laid off,  working at an available job just to survive. I take care of my financial problems and rely on no one's financial support.  I give when I can and I give when I like.  The caller pressured me when I said my first "no", he insisted when I said my second "no", then I became frustrated and he eased off. I almost felt threatened.  Is that the way for the State Troopers Assoc to raise funds for whatever cause the funds are intended?   It gave me a bad taste in my mouth and they have totally lost my respect. By the way, where did they get my name and number. Did they have to pay for a list?  because I had given to other organizations in the past?  Because of this terrible experience, I don't think I want to donate to them ever!

Texas State Troopers Assoc. is ONLY a bunch of telemarketers looking for money they ARE NOT in any way shape or form "LAW ENFORCEMENT ENTITIES"...They are just hired street panhandlers trying to hustle your last buck by sounding "official or important" that's why they will call posing as an actual "Texas State Trooper",I believe that in some cases "Trustee's"are used to make the calls. (Line in Harris County Detention Facility?) They call from varied parts of state and have lot's of phone #s. Best you can do is contact Federal Communications Commission to file an online complaint pertaining to "Abandoned Calls" if you answer and no body is there to respond back...definitions are on the form you're gonna fill out.

these people keep calling (the troopers assoc.) asking for donations.  i tell them that mr. jones (the one they are calling) has passed away.  they say they will take the number off the call list yet they are STILL calling.  the first time they called after his passing, us family members were at the house getting a few things together (pictures) to take to the funeral home for visitation.  i explained to the caller that mr. jones passes away.  what do i get???  ok, well would you like to make a donation???  "your kidding right?" was my reply.  the bozo said "no im not".  i said "well, im not either, goodbye!" and i hung up.  at least the second time the caller seemed sympathic and said "im sorry, we will remove the number f/ our list".  yet still they call.

Answered the call. It was from the Texas State Troopers association...told them I was not interested and hung-up.
