This number is associated with the Health and Human Services Dept. I received a few calls but no message. When I tried to call back, the recording relayed that the number was no longer in service. After a few reverse number look ups I found that it is the HHSD.

It happen to me that this number call me, but did not leave a message.  I called back and the number was disconnected.  We have to be careful .  There are many frauds.

I recently recieved a call from this number (2\25-2\27)210-581-3665. I know this call was from the HHS-Bexar Co. I had applied for food stamps, but was denied because I didn't meet the income requirements.

I called 211 and then i got transferred over to the health and human services and asked about my SNAP account and i told them i got a phone call from that number. They said that is one of their state workers and that its not a direct line and that is why you cannot call it.

This is Health and Human Services for Bexar County. If you have food stamps (SNAP), Medicaid, TANF this is who will call you.

The same thing happened to me too. I got a call from them on around 3pm and they said that I was going to have a phone interview on thursaday at 3. It was also for the snap benefits so I also didn't ask any future questions. Well today at 3 I waited and waited and it's 4:35 and still no call so I decided so look up the number and found all these comments on the number.

Have received several calls , finaly message lft. from a Jeniffer from health and human services . When I try to redial msg. recived ph# is no longer in service . Don't be fooled , This could be a scam of some sort. Tell the people who are calling you are going to verify with Agency they are from before any info can be given..

I also got a call and the person asked for me, and asked if I was available for an interview @ 3 -3:30. I thought it was an interview for my SNAP benefits which I was waiting for so I didnt ask any further. They never called back. Who are these people, how do they know my name?

It's a homestudy. Someone you know is involved with child protective services. They are conducting a homestudy.
