I receive sevaral calls a week from this number. They are looking for someone called Glenda and I every and each time I explain them they have the wrong number and they should update their record. But, appararently they are too dumb and they don't get it. Can I file a complaint with the police? I don't know how to stop this harrassment.

They just have incorrect contact info. Advise them to cease and desist contacting you and check out FTC.gov to file complaint.... That will stop them as well.

This is chase credit card collections dept. If they are calling you and you don't have a chase account they either ; A- have incorrect contact info for whoever they are trying to collect from
B- someone has stolen your personal info and obtained an account with it so check your credit report.

Or C- you HAVE a chase credit card of somesort and did not pay the bill!

My husband called concerend since they called him saying I was paying on a bill and had stopped paying and was wondering if he lost his job recently or if we moved.  He fell for it and told them we had recently moved.  I am so mad at him I told him he should know better.  I do not give out his work number for our bills. I paid offf my chase account and the other one is paid automatically monthly via our chking ACCT SO It cant be late and never is.  he gets sucked into everything and then Chase sent an email saying someone hacked into my account.  I called and they said they didnt but that a fraudulent company is sending emails so people will enter their account info with their link and then they can put fake charges on it and get money  BE careful who u talk to..Better yet do it by mail and not phone or email.

You can also assign them a silent ringer so you'll never hear them calling anymore.

My dad has been harrassed by the same collection agency forever for someone else. Several times he has told them he's not the person and everytime they say they'll take care of it but he still gets calls to this day. If you don't want to change your number, assign them some type of ringer so you'll know its them without even looking at it. The silent ringer works best. If your phone doesn't have one you can download free software and make one yourself.

They call my number often (about 10 times a week, sometimes more, for over a year) and occasionally leave a message for someone named James Groves.  I don't have a Chase card, and my name isn't James Groves.  I had my credit checked just to make sure someone didn't steal my identity.  I definitely feel harrassed.  Any suggestions on what I can do?  There's got to be something I can do.

I get at least 10 calls a day from them.  It is Chase and I do owe money but I'm making regular payments and that is all I can do.  They should be able to see that I make consistent regular payments and go harrass someone that is not making any payments at all.

This is Chase again and again. Several times a day. I offered a settlement offer which they refused and they keep calling like I somehow found the money. They recommended I get the money from a friend or cash out my 401K. I hate talking to these scumbags. I take responsibility for my debt but these companies should not be allowed to keep increasing debt levels w/o a request from me.

Yes, it's Chase Card Services.  The economy is going to collapse; when that happens (and it's soon!), I hope that they can take all the money they DON'T have and find a way to survive.

They are very annoying and call several times per day without leaving any messages. I just called the number back and it is Chase Card services. We do have a past due payment, but I'd prefer a message when I don't pick up the phone, rather than several calls per day from an "unknown" number.  I will never give my work phone number to a creditor again!

I believe these people are FRAUDS! They say they are from Chase bank, and that I owe a large sum of money that is past due, yet I just checked my credit score and checked with Chase and this is all false. I believe it's a phishing scam, do NOT give them your info. I called the number back to see what happens and how they answer, and they say "give us your 16 digit credit card number OR social" and no credit card company ever asks for your social like that, the only reason they would is if there was no other way for you to access your account, and the REAL credit card companies really push for you to have your 16 digit card number and only ask for that.
