Got the same call from same person did anything ever happen in your case?

Got a call from caller said they are Nancy Blackwell with National Check Litigations and that I had wrote a bad check with the institution and accepted funds fraudelently.  I was being prosecuted and detained - no amount was listed as to how much the check was through this institution. I will be detained.  Sound like a scam but I am contacting a lawyer.

Got a call at my work place. Left me a message to have my lawyer call them but didn't leave a message as to what it was. Never called my cell. Don't know who it is but sounds fishy to me. This # is in Texas and I'm in California. I don't even know anyone in Texas.
