Getting daily automated calls from this number.

I have received several calls from this number but the one I received today they actually left a message. It was an automated message. The message claimed I wrote a check that was returned and they have my drivers license number. Funny thing about that is the only time I write checks is for my son's school activities. That has been like twice in the past couple of years. It's also funny they claim to have my driver's license attached to said check. My driver's license number is not listed on any checks and my son physically took them to school himself and participated with no issues. I strongly and absolutely belive these guys are a bunch of scammers and preditors. They may even have found maybe an old debt from a long time ago and bought it from another collecter. Debts like these get passed around and are past statutory limits but if you agree to pay, that statutory period is null and void and start back over as if it's a new debt. I know this because before my husband and I got married, one thing we agreed on is that we would take care of our own personal debts before we got married. I hired a lawyer to help with mine and learned a lot about debts and my legal rights. And basically if someone claims you have a debt, it's either past the statutory limits or never existed in the first place. Never give anyone personal information. If they have said they have your personal information, ask them to send a letter without giving your address to them. At least that way you have the opportunity to research it. And also there are several templates of letters that you can send asking them to cease communication, the debt is over the statutory limits and so forth. Keep it professional. This does work. I followed through with a couple of old debts and never received another communication again regarding them. Good Luck and don't fall victim to these types of greedy and only out for themselves predators.

So I got a call from this number.  I called back and they asked for my phone number and I told them.  They lady told me that they are filing charges on me in Hays county for not paying back money that I borrowed.  I told that lady that money was repaid so that they have a bad debt.  She said that there are charges being filed against me and I told her that was fine with me that I would see them in court.  This harassment has been going on for a very long time and each time the company changes their name.  I just looked on the Texas Secretary of State Debt Collectors and Northern Asset Recovery is not listed.  Scare tactics is what they are using and in the State of Texas it is not legal.  Besides, that... what they are trying to recover isn't listed on my credit report so how can it be a valid debt?  This company hold not debt collection license so EVERYONE BEWARE!!!  This is a Open one day and close next day company.  DO NOT PAY THEM ANYTHING!

I get this call over and over on my home phone.  It is quite annoying and no one answers.  I am on the National Do Not Call list.  I need to find out how to stop this

It's a collection agency.  Was calling my fax line.  The lady seemed nice and said that they would remove my number.  I am guessing that someone mistyped a digit or something as the number they were calling is a fax line for a business and we've had that number for like 6 or 7 years.

This number keeps calling over and over, leaves no message, I don't know this number and I want it to stop calling me because I don't answer numbers I don't recognize.

I keep getting phone calls from this number. Around maybe once a day.. sometimes twice. We have no idea who it is so we don't answer and they don't leave a message.

I have gotten like 3 -4 calls a week from this number as well.

These people call me daily.  I don't know who they are but when you dial their number it's some kind of debt collecting agency.  When I finally got through, I listened repeatedly to a recorded message that said I would be transferred to a agent, but needless to say no one ever picked up the phone.  I finally hung up without speaking to anybody and they never leave a message.  Very annoying!  I can't really understand what the recording is saying but I think it's FNTB collections.

Thanks for posting this, Chris.  I did not answer the call because it was"Unknown Name".  I don't know what it is all about but I'm glad I didn't get suckered in.

I have been geting 3 or 4 calls a day from this number.  It started last week.  I returned the call and it said "all circuits are busy at this time". Who can we call to get this stopped?  The Do Not Call List  is just a joke.

It's weird they're starting to call from local numbers. Perhaps they're trying to fool us into thinking it's local so it can't be a telemarketer (at least for me, telemarketers always call from other states) and we'll answer the phone.

They didn't leave a message either, another oddity.

They called my house and it did go to voice mail but all it said was "Thank you" and disconnected.  Called the number back and it said "First National Collection Bureau".  I hung up because I was at work so I don't know who they are trying to collect for.

Since early May 2011, 210-787-1735 has called my cell phone leaving no message five times over a week or so.  no minutes have been used.  I don't know this number and haven't returned the call.  
Few folks are given my cell phone number, so this call got my attention.

btw, it is highly unlikely that a collection agency would be calling me.

Received 2 calls already today within a 3 hour window of time and I know I've gotten this number before. They didn't leave a message either. I never answer phone calls from numbers I do not know and I won't return it without a message. Added to my call reject list.

The phone rung I answered and there was a automated prompt stating that this call was for me and it instructed that if this was infact me to press 2. I proceeded, Then a lady came on the line and asked "is this Chris" I replied "yes" the she hung up. After 5 minutes of failed attempts to do a reverse look up online I called back and then it said that the number could not completed as dialed.

Yes, I am tired of getting calls from this number. They leave no message and maybe should report to my phone carrier. Thank you
