don't call

Received a UNSOLICITED call from AMERICAQUEST, located in San Antonio, TX.  The call was in violation of the Texas NO CALL LAW.  AMERICAQUEST is soliciting people who are "INTERESTED IN INVESTING IN OIL AND GAS WELLS".

Such lists are then sold to oil/gas well promoters, who use the list to make "COLD CALLS" to sell oil & gas well shares/units.

The COLD CALLS are a clear violation SEC Reg. D which requires the CALLER TO KNOW BEFORE HE/SHE CALLS that the person they are calling is a QUALIFIED PURCHASER <http://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/accreditedinvestor.asp>.
(individual income $200,000/yr., joint income $300,000/yr., net worth of $1,000,000.)

COLD CALLS made by oil/gas promoters are also clear violations of the National and State DO NOT CALL LISTS.

IF your were to INVEST in a COLD CALL OIL/GAS WELL, your chances of braking even, in 1 in 10.  Shares are usually 3 to 4 times what is costs the promoter per share.  He pockets the profit whether the well works out or not.
