These individuals at this number have been calling for the past 3 years. As directly for me as if they know me. I tell them that they are being reported to the BBB and FCC for excessive solicitations.

I keep receiving calls from different numbers but the same person several times a day at our place of business.  Today the number was 210-892-0005 but a different number 2 minutes earlier.  She asks for my boss but every time I ask to take a message, she hangs up.  The same person finally presented her name as Shirley Spencer today.  I relayed to her that my boss wanted me to take a message but she stated, "Is he busy or not?"  After inquiring to what is the significance of the call and if I could take a message, she just stated she would call back later and hung up.  She is very rude!

They call every single day and ask for my boss by his first name as if they're old buddies. Then he leaves his full name so that I am more likely to give my boss the message. Some days he says, "Well I'll just call his cell" and then hang up. Sorry, Charles Taylor, but my boss is not giving you anymore money!

This person calls everyday. We no longer answer the phone. It is a scam. Some other guy called from the same number and my wife answered and he said he was raising money to take kids to the circus. My wife told him we do not give out our credit card number over the phone and to send documentation so we can read it.  The idiot had our address and stated to leave a check under the mat and he would pick it up. My wife said no. 2 days later a drunk guy shows up at the door saying he's here to pick up a check. My wife was so startled. It was terrible. We reported them to the police. Do not answer the phone and report them. This is a total scam!

This person is very rude and if he is looking for a donation he will never get it from the gate keeper as he called me!

I researched AmVets and I believe that this is a for-profit company that calls to raise donations for a charitable organization.  Of course, it's hard to know how much of my donation actually goes to the charity.

American Veterans Association  He says sanctioned by Congress in 1947.
Also says it takes 6 monhts to 1 year for Veterans from Iraq to get any benefits processed by Veterans Administration which is now the Department of Veteran Affairs, I think.

AMVETS, very nice lady, did not pressure to donate, accepted my refusal the first time.

Got the same message today with no additional information.  Do not plan to return the call.

received a voicemail from 210-892-0005, purportedly from a "Sgt. McAtee".  No details, just a number and request for a call back.

He has called twice and has left a message to call back--says his name is Mike Yunger. When I call back, some guy answers, I ask to speak to this Mike person, lots of background noise, a few seconds later, and I get hung up on.

He has called our place of business numerous times, always asking for my boss but just saying he would call back when I tell him she is not available. Lots of chatter in the background; sounds like a call center to me. He says he is calling for donation for disabled service men who have been waiting for 6 months for a check.  When I finally told him my boss said she would make a donation directly on her own and not through a phone solicitor, and for him to stop calling, he got angry and huffy and hung up on me.

Just got the call.... Same deal as above. Lot's of chatter in the background.  Called back, no answer.

called for donation for disabled service men who have been waiting for 6 months for a check, asked if we could be as generous as our neighbor and gave me their name, then when I told him this was a very difficult time for us as well as we may be losing our job very soon he just laughed hysterically.  I said that's nice you find humor in that........

Calls me (sounds of a call center in the background) and says sorry I missed your call please give me a call back.  Stupid salesmen.
