called 610pm, 7-14-09, recorded message "push 1 to hear..."  That's when I hung up.  Caller ID showed WING R US, whatever that means.

called at 10:15am 7/17/09 no one was on the line. Caller ID also said WING R US.

Rang 2 hung up.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done. Most of the time the CID is spoofed.

I got to my cell phone too late to answer, probably because it only rang twice.  Caller ID gave this number, but "name unknown".  This has to be a scammer.

Phone Number Report: This is a spoof call. Look up spoof.net. Your phone can be turned on remotely as a microphone (report in Contra Costa Times) and even though you hang up, your house can be monitored, or your ""bit-bucket"" emptied. Educate yourself.

I got the same recording saying "Please press 1 to hear about our borders."  Is Wing R Us simply a fake name being used by these callers, or is there a politician in Texas named Wing?

how do we put a stop to this crap.  I, like many other, are on the DO NOT CALL list, yet we keep getting calls from these bozos.  PErsonally, I am not nice to these people - i use every swear word I can think of when they call

got a call - missed it so i called back. guy said they don't make outgoing calls from this number.  why then did it show up on my called ID when the phone rang?  called them back, this time got a lady who apologized profusely and took my number to have it removed.  yeah right.  we'll see.

got a call from this number - missed the call, so I called back.  The man said it was a national marketing co and I asked why they had called.  He said they don't make outgoing calls from that number.  That is a bunch of BS since the number clearly shows up on my called ID!!!

got a call from them earlier .. called back the number from the caller ID .. got a call center that assured me they didn't make any outbound calls .....

I called back 6 times to make sure ...

Rang three times I picked up no one there

1-210-892-1138 Wings R Us - San Antonio, Texas.  The border patrol is funded with our tax dollars - asking for donations is most likely a scam.

Received a call at 11:35 a.m. on 07/17/09.  No response to my "hello."  Star 69-ed the number (210-892-1124) and called back.  Woman answered and identified herself as Lillian.  When I told her that I had just received a call from this number and asked if it was a business, in a very professional manner, she said "No maam.  This is a private residence.  I did not call you."

I got a call that the caller ID identified as "Wing R Us". The phone number is listed as 210-892-1124. The call rang twice and hung up as I answered. I called the number back (it's a San Antonio TX area code). I spoke with a young African American woman who said that the calls aren't ACTUALLY coming from their company. She said that that company IS affiliated with their company AS AN OVERFLOW NUMBER.

She said that she had no information about what they wanted. She couldn't guarentee that they wouldn't call back.

I didnt reply to call as I didn't recognize it, but called back that number twice and the person answering was different on both occasions. Same message however: this is an 866 number and only receives calls, doesn't make them!

Received a call with Caller ID as Wings R Us.  Nothing on Google about the "company" so I came here.  This is the first call I've received from them... hope they don't call back after reading this site!

I get two or three of these types of calls per day. Wing R Us is this scam. I now just pick up the phone, and lie it down on the desk, without saying anything. Sometimes that actually works.

in MIchigan, got a call from " Wing" not Wings R Us. man said he was sorry but someone using thier # for a call back  # , but it was not them.

Same here.  I called the number and asked to be taken off their calling list.  The person who answered asked "what product is this about?"  When I explained I'd gotten a robot call with something about "press 1 for a message about our borders" she put me on hold and eventually hung up on me.

They called and let it ring three times. I didnt get to the phone in time but it sounds like it is just as well.

We didn't recognize the name so didn't answer. Michigan.

I just got a call from "Wings R Us" rang twice, and I answered and just got a dial tone- I am  in Michigan and appears Texas call- I just tried calling the number and it rang and message came on the number was invalid

Called back number and "Brenda" answered, asked what this was about..she hung up.
