i just got a call from this number after i said  hello but hung up when i answered

I also have received many calls from this number.  Usually, there is no message, just a hang up.  However, this time a lady was on the other end of the line.  What frightens me is the fact that she knew my name.  Same story as in the others above----she was from a credit finance company wishing to lower my interest rate, lower my payments, ect.  NO, I repeat NO credit card campany would refer anyone to them to lower or eliminate payments.  IT HAS TO BE A SCAM.. I simply told her NO---and hung up.  I shall see if any more call follow.

Also receive several calls a day. No one on the other end. If it is a debt consolidation company, it's a good idea to stay away if you can't find the phone numbers owner

I posted earlier....here are some more details....After being connected through the worst auto-dialer ever, I had spoken to a guy the first time they called, he twice rushed through the name of the company (sign #1 of trouble)...he said I had been referred by the credit bureaus to help lower my interest rates (sign #2)....I totally did not believe what the guy was saying, and he was very insistent, borderline rude that I was skeptical of his services.  When I informed him that I was ending the phone call, his response was (rudely)..."Fine, enjoy your high interest rates then! (sign #3)"  Today I had time so I called my credit card company, explained to the woman the phone call, and she said it is a scam (sign #4).  They are phishing for information so they can steal your ID and credit, because they know right now people are trying to do what they can to save money (and the new credit card regulations).  She made a notation on my account that I had been contacted by them, and to let my credit monitoring service know as well. I am hoping they will call back tonight (it will be 6 times in 4 days) so I can let them know I am on to them.  Beware, these people are NOT looking to help you refinance (and besides, would you really go with someone who has a crappy autodialer?)

interesting.  I received a call last night and today.  Last night it was a woman wanting to lower my interest rates however she was asking who I was before she would tell me why she was calling.  I immediately felt uncomfortable knowing it was a scam as she did not want to tell me who she was because she said what if I was a random person and she had access to my files she was trying to sound like she was legit. she ended up hanging up.Today I got a similar phone call from a man and I informed him I felt I was being scammed I said I was going to call the ftc or bbb and he told me a  co. name that is a legit. company so they are posing make pretending they are from reputable companies. Beware total scam for sure

When I got off the phone I confirmed it was the same # which if you call it is always busy.

I've gotten called from this number several times as well. Today, someone actually answered when i picked up. They use an automated dialing service that obviously does not work properly. They are credit card refinancing company. They work with credit card companies to lower your interest rate, monthly payments, or total amount owed. If you wish to be taken from their calling list use this number 888-722-5886. The company is called Financial Strategies. I spoke with both a Ms. Campbell and her supervisor

They called last night and were talking about lowering interest rates on credit cards.....very persistent.  I did not give them any information since I obviously do not know or trust them.  Came up as MICRO on my caller ID.  They called again tonight, did not answer.  I tried to call back to tell them to take my name off their list, but it was busy.  Scam artists, I am sure.

This number keeps showing up on my caller ID.  Today someone left a message, said my husbands name once and then hung up.  I have gotten several calls on my caller ID.  They never leave a message.  I wish they would stop calling.

got the call today...waited several seconds and there was nothing.  Did *69 and was busy

got several calls from this number but they left no message.  I tried calling back and no one picks up or it's busy.

Just got a call from this phone number and after I said hello and waited a few seconds a male voice quoted John 3:16. It was a welcome call as God does love us.
