How do you serve a retraining order on AKA Criminal charges as they put it. Oh how I love ignorant people

Thank you so much for your reporting this and posting this, we just had something like this happen today, in fact exactly like this, I still have the message saved at home and planning to report it.

Close the account they are taking money from.  Report them to the FTC and your state's Attorney General.  Put a fraud alert on your credit.  Change your phone number and don't put it on Facebook.

I also got a call from this number 210-892-1235 and they gave me a conformation number and have  been getting money from me sence june 2012 i tried to call them and all i get is music now i don't know what to do that i read all these messages

this number 210-892-1235 called my cell phone, my mother in law and my brothers house asking for me and told them i owed money for a payday loan and was being investagated. totally bogus full of s**** of course people get scared when the hear this type of call. They aslo said they were national legal services. i checked onling found out it was a scam...do not give any personal info out please good luck

My mother-in-law received a call from somebody looking for my husband, saying he was being sued. Mom lives in Maryland and we live in Colorado. Also, they called her on her cell phone. How did they get THAT number? She called us and gave us the number to call, 210-892-1235, and said she had spoken to a Sheila Hawkins. We were really freaked out because we have had a bankruptcy and recent financial problems. Since my husband works during the week I called, and spoke to a Derek Moore. He actually knew the first 5 digits of my husband's SSN, and told us Sheila Hawkins was a field investigator. My Mother-in-law had also given us a case file number. Derek Moore said he could not speak with me, it had to be with my husband. We tried to call after he got off work seven more times over the past five days, was on hold nearly 10 minutes each time, and left three messages which were never returned. I know their hold music by heart. I'm glad I found this website and now know it is a scam. Why don't these swindlers get a life?

I received a call today from a Jason Mall with National Legal Services @ 210-892-1235. He sounded believable because he spoke perfect English & sounded pretty knowledgeable about court proceedings. He said that I had a claim against me for a gas card that was opened back in 2005. He told me if I didn't pay the outstanding balance of$1500 that I would have to go to court and pay roughly $4700 due to legal court fees. I told him that I have never opened a card and just forgot to pay it, and why 7 yrs later am I barely getting a notice? He gave me some bogus answer. I told him I wasn't paying until I had proof documentations that I'm the one who applied. He then said his client had that paperwork and unless I got an attorney I could see such paperwork. Right then I knew it was fraud. I hung up after telling him I was going to research his company. And sure enough its a SCAM! He caught me off guard while I was driving so I didn't have the chance to research them before even bothering to call them back. That's 40 minutes I'm not getting back from my phone bill! Please please dont bother calling them at all.

Yes they are bothering me too! A black guy called said his name was Nathan Jessup. Said I have a civil suit against me and to have my attorney call! Whatever i'm sure if it was legit I would get a letter of some sort. Well i hope I answer when they call back so I can tell them to F**** off!!!! They are scammers!!!

This was very suspicious and I refused to call a 3rd party regaurding a legal matter. If it is a leagle matter a reputable lawyer would contact me directly.

i got a call from these people. say i owe money to a payday loan service (B&M or B and M). i have never used a payday loan service and have no plans on paying them. they refuse to give me a court date and would not tell me what address they had on file. how can they get a court date with out serving me?

I live in Missouri. Got a call from them today saying that there was a restraining order against my wife. they  identified themselves as National Legal Services. Must respond within 48 hrs. called them back gave me various option to choose from and I chose 2. A person answered the phone I asked to speak to investigator Mitchell the woman who left a message on my phone. The person said let me transfer you to HIS office. When I told him that she was a woman he pretended to transfer me but only some music came on and I hung up.

Received a call this morning from a restricted number telling us to call 210-892-1235.  Anthony Smith and Reese Davis, told us we were being sued for being late on a credit card we do not own.  They said they were from "National Legal Services".  My husband asked why we had not been served with legal documentation on this alleged credit card, and they said they can't deliver to p.o. boxes.  Funny since my husband works for the county where we live, he knows exactly how people get served, and p.o. boxes have nothing to do with it.  I don't know how these people got some of our very personal information, but we have contacted our lawyer, the Federal Trade Commission, and put flags on our credit reports.

We too were given a false case number: P34C2966, and said they would be contacting family members if we did not comply.  

This is a scam, and I would advise you not even call the number back and ignore them when they call.  They are breaking the law by calling and threatening you.  File a claim with the above mentioned and hopefully we can get these people caught.

Sharon Perry called me this morning. Gave me the 1-210-892-1235 number and a case #. I called National Legal Services back and the guy was a a**. I have no legal history, pay all bills on time and I'm not even in debt for anything. They said it had to do with a credit card I had with Bestbuy. I don't have any credit cards and never had one with Bestbuy. I hate shopping there actually. The man told me my court date was Oct. 22nd-26th and have good luck with that, I'm sure it will turn out right for you. I told him it would because I did not take out a credit card with Bestbuy. You either have a court date or not, not a 5 day window to threaten a person with. It  is a scam and it is so stupid, one has to laugh at it.

I just got this message regarding a judgment against me and potential restraining.  THANK YOU TO ALL WHO POSTED!  I'm not callinh them back!

just got a call from that number. she said her name was Sharon Perry and she was from National Legal Services. she told me i had a complaint filed against me and i was to call this number(the same number the call came in from) and give them a case number to find out who filed the complaint and details.  I fell for this scam a few months ago about a payday loan my son took out. they got me for $400 +.  If a complaint is filed there will be a certified letter delivered to your house from the legal court system where it was filed.  Thank you everyone for reporting this.  Might also be a good idea to post this info on your facebook, twitter, ect. and remember telling everyone verbally will reach alot of people.

I recieved a call today from 210-892-1235, the person on the other end said his name was Nathan Jussups and that he was a Private Investigator and that I had a restraining order on me, didnt say who put this 'order' on me, gave me a case # pl2t1102 and said I had 24-48 hrs to respond or they were going to take further action or we could settle this out of court. He also told me to contact my lawyer. This is totaly a SCAM! Bring it on Nathan Jusups, Im lawyered up!!!!!

Here is what doesnt make sense- Why would a restraining order be filed against us for a debt? These scam artists called me yesterday about a debt from Wells Fargo. I informed them that I have no outstanding debt from Wells Fargo. I contacted Wells Fargo and they informed me there was no debt. We all need to file a complaint with the federal trade commission on these scam artists.

My mother got a call from these people today, she handed the phone to me and I proceeded to be her. They tried to get aggressive with me but lucky for my mom I had already dealt with pretty much the same call myself. This time they are claiming she owes money to a company with enterprise car rentals. My mother never ever rented a car in her life. When I shut down and ripped apart he's every attempt to get money out of my mother he gave up. I told him when a judge tells me to pay that's when I will pay and he said okay have a nice day! I can tell you he did not like not being able to shake me!! Give these people just as much hell as they gave you make them feel like a complete idiot, guarantee they won't call anymore!! ;)

These b*****ds called me today but i chumped them off when I confirmed with Wells Fargo that i had no outstanding debt.  I filed a claim with FTC and found a webpage that talked about how they have been trying to scam people out of money. B*****ds!!

800notes does not have the authority to stop unwanted calls. It is a website for sharing UNKNOWN numbers. In the meantime, you are going to have to do whatever you can to protect yourself--including informing these criminals that you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities, including the FTC: https://econsumer.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus and notifying your bank and employer. This is a criminal extortion scam operating from India and they are utilizing VOIP and the names of ficticious and or legiitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. ABC News released an investigative report on this scam in June and the FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:

I am having the same problem.  Please get them to stop calling and harrasing and threatenting me.  It is very fustrating, espcially when they call you at work and threaten to send the police after you.  Please stop these people from scamming us.

My mom called me today and was very concerned with a message that was left on my parents machine.It was Sharon Perry and she left a case number for a restraining order filed.I called the number and found that it was from San Antonio.I live in Washington State and was adopted out of San Antionio over 30 years ago.I called the Bexar County Sheriffs department and they couldn't find such an order.I then called my local sheriffs department and they couldn't either.I googled the number and found this information.I am very relieved,but very angry.I have had legal problems in the past and also to play on the fact that it was from where I am adopted out of.Really not cool.I am very upset.Who are these people really?This touched a very sensitive personal battle for both me and my family.I want these people to be stopped now.

I got a call from Mr Nathan Jessup this morning asking for me by name, and when I asked him who he was, and why he was calling me. He got antagonistic and told me that he was not playing with mem so I hung up. He called back on my cell and left a message saying that he was a special investigator and that I was named in a court complaint. Affidavit and claim number is R19W2724. And that there is a restraining order against me, and that I should forward the message to my attorney, because had 24 to 48 hours to respond. The phone number that he left was 2108921235. I was suspicious because I had not received a notice or summons in the mail or in person. But yet I was worried, I hadn't done anything wrong or owed anyone. I'm glad that I found this on the internet. I wont be calling them, or worry about it. Thanks for all of you that have filed your complaint online.

Just got a call from 210 892 1235 from a professional sounding woman "Karen Tate" .  Took two lengthy holds  through horrible scratchy sounding music.  Answered by "Jason"  to be told I had taken out a small loan and (short version) I could work for them before the law suit ruined me. I haven't taken out any small loans.  He hung up on me when I asked him questions.

WE  Received A  message on9-27-2012 thursday the same, the message went like this: My Name is William Hoax,( Hoax my A***)   you have  a  restraining order  filied agianst you, you  must respond with in 48 hrs. To Reply  here's your case number and call this number 210-892-1235, and you might  want to call your attorney and make them aware of this pending legal matter.

Well what's  funny about this they had my name wrong only half truth's, I haven't done anything to any one ,So WE knew this was some soft of A SCAM...

A.When you have a restraining filed against you people normaly service you. AS IN A servicer!! RIGHT
PEOPLE BE AWARE THIS IS SUCH A SCAM AND FOR WHAT FEAR, to scare you making you think you did something that you did'nt do at all.

B. It's all about some one wanting to get into your pocket book .
 
I'll say this in closing the back round noise was so loud, you could tell it's a tele-marketing room. Thnak you people for coming to this site and reporting, just maybe there will be many others who will stop and report it, it's the only way to catch the lazy sucker, God only knows if people would work hard  at a real job, verses scamming the american public we could get back to running a strong america again!!

omg i jus now got a phone call from them today about getting sued i never made a loan they try to get me to settle n i said no n they said they will take me to court i said do it n i call my state where i from they told me theres no records lmao
