I'm a former employee there I can deffinetly sa . If the public only knew! The community thrift store is a farce! The supposed telemarkiting dept. Consist of rude unintelectual supervisors. They hire you tell you exactly what to say . You call and ask for donations in behalf of 2 organiztios. I was told that disabled vets and, or their families get to come in with a "voucher" aitems at no cost! I never saw that happen . I don't want to vent because I'll never stop but I can assure you its all a scam my "supervisors" had no proper phone manners rude unproffesional ans truley had no compassion to them each caller that agreed to donate is just $$$$$$$$. 2.25 per call that is a yes for donation. Called at 8:29p, San Antonio (Central Time)... legitimate call showing as "Thrift Stores", seeking donations for Disabled American Veteran's donation organization.

We have been harassed by daily calls from this Thrift Store.  We continually ask to be removed from their, but no one ever speaks.

Is there someplace this harrassment can be reported?

I receive calls from this number all the time.  They say they represent Cerebral Palsy, Disabled Vets, and today Easter Seals, always looking for donations of household goods, clothes, magazines, books, etc.  I contributed for the first time 2 weeks ago to the DVA, but when they called yesterday to remind me that the trucks would be in the area picking up for Easter Seals, something just clicked.  I firmly believe these people are running a scam and keeping the profits for themselves.  If you get a call from this number, tell them you are going to report them to the agency they say they are representing.

Has called repeatedly in the past. Called again today and hung up when I answered the telephone. Called them back and informed them that I had requested that my # be removed from their call list twice before. I again made the request and notified them that the next time, I would report them to the FCC.

Calls every day....very annoying, don't have anything to donate. No one answers when u pick up.

These scammers called yet again on 05/07/2010.  I ought to lodge a lawsuit against them.  They are NOT helping people.  A legitimate organization would NOT stoop to calling people for money.  They would allow people to come to them and NOT bother common citizens like me.  They call us again and I WILL take legal action. I AM a Disabled Vet and am ashamed that scammers like this use people like us to get illegitimate money.

They call us about every 2 weeks.  This time they left a message that they are from the "Cerebral Palsy Association".  We hate getting unsolicited calls and we want them to stop.  We are very private people and hate anything that disturbs our peace and quiet. I think these "people" are scammers and trashy whatnots.
