have any of you traveled or was going to travel out of the state when you started receiving this call???

I received a call from this number this morning, about 30 minutes ago.  They called on behalf on DirecTV.  We have been customers for about 2 years.  For being a loyal customer, he wanted to offer me $10 off my monthly bill for 2 years, I had to stay with DirecTV for those two years or pay a $5/month fee for every month that I didn't stay with them for those two years.  I agreed to that, then he said he could do something else for me: $20/month with a $10/month early cancellation fee.  I agreed to that.

I just checked my account at DirecTV (where I was going to get their number to confirm this activiy) and I see that my monthly bill is already $20 less than what it was.  I guess YMMV, but it seemed to work for me.

This number has been calling me 2-3 times a day for over a month now. I have blocked the number but it is really annoying. I am a directv customer like several other people on here. Do they ever stop calling?

They might be getting numbers from a directv data base because they have called constantly since I canceled my account with directv. However, they only sometimes leave a voice mail and it is just fax tones. I've never tried calling back. They are relentless and call me several times a day. I am on the do not call list.

I think the owner of this number has changed. I just got a call from this number and they left a message. It's OptumRX - which is the mail order pharmacy associated with United Health Care.

Had a missed call from this # at 4:51pm, called it back within a few minutes and there was an automatic message that started playing. "Welcome to Verizon wireless, the # you have called has either been disconnected or... Please check the # and dial again."

I got a call from this number on a Sunday morning at 9:10 AM. they stated they were from Direct TV and wanted to thank me for being a loyal customer, and offered some premium channels for free and was going to send me a $50.00 gift card, they just needed to confirm my address. He told me what my address was then stated the channels should be available in aabout 2 hours. I had my daughter check at 2:30 PM to see if we had any other channels and she said no.  I called the number later and got a message stating "your call cannot be completed as dialed"

If whoever this phone number belongs to wants to talk to me bad enough, they'll leave a message.  Since they won't, we don't.

It is Optum RX and they do sometimes leave a message. If I want to use their mail order pharmacy for more than I do right now, I do know how to do that and find it very annoying that they call repeatedly. I just called them back and boy were they ready to get more of my business, so he got as far as asking for my DOB. I said you don't need that, but you do need to stop with the calls day in and day out. It makes me want to do NO business with you and that's what will happen if I get one more call. He said he'd put me on the do not call list. I'm ON the freaking do not call list. Too many telemarketers are somehow getting past the do not call list and I'm sick of it!

Supposed Customer Service Agent for Direct Tv. says id receive a $40 pre-paid visa and 13 channels back at a charge of .47 cents a day for a promotion of 90 days.

block this call

I keep receiving this call to every morning for days now. When I call back it states the number is no longer in service. I did block the number on my phone but would like to know what list I need to add myself too, making sure I dont receive any more calls like this.

Received call yesterday at this tel no (210) 991-7234.  Do not know the caller.  Please block/stop the call from my cell phone.  Crank call.  Thank you.  

Been calling every day, no message, no id. I'm on the do not call list. Going to block but it would be great to bust this person :-/

I have been getting these calls about 2 -3 times a day from San Antonio, TX (that is what appears on the caller ID)....they say they are calling from Direct TV (which I do have an account with)...the first time I picked up the guy sounded so frazzled and talking so fast - maybe because I actually picked up and made me a bit suspicious of it really being Direct TV....I call the number back and it's a busy signal all the time.

Thanks to everyone here for posting about this number! I ALSO have Directv and have had at least one missed call every day from this number or 210-991-7231. I've blocked both numbers.

This company continues to call my cell phone.  I only use my cell phone for emergencies or family.  I want the calls to stop.

Received several missed calls from this number. But received no messages. One of the 2 satellite companies is also a provider to me.

I answered and they were trying to sell hbo or some BS, I hung up and blocked

This number has called me multiple times over the last few weeks. They left a message once, but I think it was unintentional as there was nothing but office noise going on in the background and no one talking. I also have Directv, but have never received calls like this from them before and I have been with them a number of years. Will definitely block this number!

Called almost everyday

Got a call from this number they said they were with Direct TV and wanted to give me showtime free for 90 days and $50 visa card. She was was talking so fast I didn't get much information, but then said I had to keep it for 30 days at blank price and 90 days for blank price (can't remember what she said) then she said after 90 days go to this website and she rambled off a website to claim my $50 visa gift card. I immediately called Direct TV and told them what happened, they looked over my account said nothing had been changed. The person calling from that number had my first and last name.

get calls from number several times a day   annoying

Get calls from 202-991-7234, which is San Antonio. We do not know anyone in San Antonio. Please show us how we can Spam block this & other nuisance callers. Thank You

Have been called several times, never answer if there is no name, then get voice mail, but no message.
