left a heavy breathing message with back ground noise of people talking

I answered the phone, and they said nothing.  So, I said " Hello, If you arent going to talk you are wasting your time"  They still said nothing.  So then I said " OK ,NOW YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME "  Then after that they said " F@#$ you, Mother F%$#@!. Then they quickly hung up.  That shows you how cowardly these scam artist can be.  I wish I could meet some of these people face to face that prey on old people, women, and no so strong minded people.  I would teach them a lesson or just a good old fasion butt kicking.

You mean they accept incoming calls in the overseas maggot-infested boiler that you work in?

Its a scam and all they want is your money! They have no way of knowing whats going on with your computer and No legitimate company cold calls like this.  The scam usually entails them taking you to your event viewer which is a internal monitor that logs events on your computer.. Oh sure, you will see the error's logged, but its all a scam to get you to allow them access to your computer. The event viewer is only doing its job and its there for a real tech to look through should you actually have a problem. Then they want remote access! They usually turn your anti virus program off  and give you a big spiel, then inform you they want a small fee to fix it.. several hundred dollars of course! Meanwhile, they have access to all your computer and could be gleaning personal info, downloading stuff to your computer to turn it into a zombie computer to spam folks..

The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face!

Caller said he was from Speedy Computer and sounded like India.  Told him I'm not interested.   He hung up

Receive multiple calls from this number each day. Do not pick up numbers I don't recognize but also don't know how this person/group decided to dial my number.  Any ideas how to make it stop?

The 1-212-001-0078  it said name unavailable. and when I asked him who this was he says he's with Windows I said why is there no name on there he kept telling me there's a error problems showing up on our website about our windows that you have reported I said I have no reported any problems with my windows 7 or otherwise I have just restored it my computer there is no way theres an  error. is cuz I just ran a cheak

This number called me and it sounded like some foreign guy telling me i had a virus or unwanted program on my computer. i asked hm what company he was from, he paused and said windows vista. i told him i didnt download anything on my computer andthat my computer didnt have any viruses. he hung up on me.

said he was from micro soft and needed to fix my computer

There is software called "caller id spoofing". This type of software will allow you to display almost anything on another caller id device. I believe this number is "spoofed" and does not really exist, because, I know of ABSOLUTELY NO VALID EXCHANGE THAT BEGINS WITH ZERO OR ONE (XXX-YYY-ZZZZ (XXX = area code, YYY=exchange, ZZZ=random sequential number)). I actually proved my point by calling this number and got a message which said the call can not be completed as dialed. Need I say more?

212-001-0078 called ... did not leave a message ... I'm on the DNC list, but apparently it doesn't do any good.

Claimed he was from Microsoft and my computer was at risk...turned the call over to a supervisor who said the same and wanted me to go to my computer and make changes....he refused to give me a name other than Microsoft or a phone number that I could call to verify the call from him was indeed not a fraud.....he refused and I hung up....although the number from area code 212 - the caller voice sounded like he was calling from India....I asked to be removed from the callers list and he said he would no do that...good reason to hang up on him.

Received a call from this number at 9:39 pm!!! Called saying it was some company calling about my computer.

Same caller who called when I was sick last week.  Wants you to go to your computer and "fix" problem with computer.  I lectured him about scams. Of course, he didn't care.  Would love to press charges against the group!  I'm on the  "do not call list" as many others. But no way to get info except through the caller ID.
