This is hilarious... I just got a call from this number and realised that it is from a telemarketer, but the funny thing is that I didn't know it was a valid phone number, so I've used this on all the application forms that I fill out instead of putting my real # on it...  Didn't mean to add someone to so many call lists, but if they're a phone spanner, I guess it's karma.

Received a call from (220) 123-4567 at 6:00 AM!  Awakened all my visiting guests.   No one would speak when I answered after the 3rd ring and the household awake.   I inadvertently bit a 'scam' on the internet recently and this is among the many, many annoyances I have had to endure since.   My number is on the do-not-call registry, but it's not helping.   Help anyone?

Call from India NOT New York asking about switching to DISH TV

1st call from this # at 5:44 pm was a hang up by the caller after i answered the phone(stupid of me). The second call a little while later at 8:44 pm went to the answering machine, and the caller left no message. I had another call from this same # the previous day at exactly 7:44 pm!

Got this call, my wife answered, asked for me by name (mispronounced it no less), they had an Indian accent, when I answered by the name they pronounced, they said nothing.

I got a call from this number today.  I didn't recognize the number and since the caller ID told me it was an "unknown caller" I won't answer those calls.  If they continue to call, I will file a complaint with the FCC and the National Do Not Call Registry.  Don't know if it will help, but I have to try.  I truly hate these anonymous callers who invade my house uninvited.  I wish the Government would go after these guys

I received a spam text from a number very similar to yours (806-477-9616) The number is from southwestern bell. I thought the pantex plant was the only place that used the 806-477 prefix in this area?

Received a text message on my cell phone, costing me minutes, from a number that is supposed to be local, 806-477-2101, a landline phone located in Amarillo, Randall Co., Texas, Southwestern Bell line.  One web service ID'd this as "e.g. 212-123-4567".  Text message was an obvious spam of suggestive nature so hardly likely to have originated from a local land line.  Very irritating!

I mentioned I was on the national do not call list; their response "What do you want me to do about it?"
They then asked what law says they can't call me; then asked me for the FTC do not call registration number.
Horray for forged called id.

Has called several times over the last couple of days.
