A guy who sounded Indian told me that my card was rejected for a trip that I booked through One Travel.  I eventually hung up on him/

I tried to book a flight with cheap Air, they called me right back saying there was a problem with my credit card from this number. After reading this I suspect they are a scam operation mostly.

This butt monkey called me at 6:12 in the morning!

This # rang my home then cell # off the hook beginning at 1:10 a.m. switching back & forth between both numbers until they woke up my children. I called this 212-212-1211 # and got a recording saying it was disconnected. Unreal...

they need jail.....................

Got a call from this number yesterday and the caller attempted to pull the Grandparent scam on me. Said he was a relative who had won a fishing trip to New York and had gotten into trouble at the border. I knew this was bogus from the begining as the caller could not answer any of my questions and kept asking leading questions trying to get info from me. He finally got frustrated and called me a dirty name and I hung up on him. A few mins. later the same number showed up on my daughters caller id, but she did not answer the call. Watch out for these kreeps.

I have recieved 3 calls from this number today. On two occassions the caller hung up and on the last call they just held on as if they were leaving a message, but saying nothing.

Received 5 calls from this bogus number.
4 were in the middle of the night!!
2 at 2am  and 2 more at 4am.
WTF???
Said it was cheapair.com, but when I contacted that company my number was not in their system.

this unknown telephone guy called my private unpublised phone number. i was in the middleof trying to fix a flooding floor. toilet i was given the phone, it was a man whom claimed he was from some from a preplanded vacation i was charged for illegally on my credit card and saying i did not have no rights to ask for my money or credit back from being charged an excessly  high amount of money that i have to pay,  when i cancelled my trip to go on a vac, when i started to try to cancell far ahead and with asking 4 people to help me, paid help over $500.00 usd made calls, faxed them the required notes from 3 mds whom all said i could not go in plenty of time more than 3 weeks before cancelled/ they did recieve my calls and 2 copies of my 14 page fax documents that were recieved, the credit card company did not want to help me? that call had no number no name as needed to call my number and not only told me no refund, threatened me as ex. he knows where i live, im being watched, gonna hurt us, ....then abruptly hung up, i was in dismay  recalled the phone number only to hear that this number is out of service 10 times, need attourney and beware

I got a call from this number saying that our call had been disconnected. The man had a strong foreign ascent and when i said he had the wrong number he refused to believe me and finally i just hung up. If you get a call from 212-212-1211 don't answer it.   its a company called Cheap-O-Air and there a company in India. and to top it all off the number is kinda strange to be honest.

We received many phone calls while we were sleeping and each time told the foreign man to f*** off. On every call he asked for Anita Zucker, or in layman terms, I need a sucker. Have never used Cheapoflights nor never will.

I started receiving calls from this number around 7:15am and I didn't answer. They called about 3 more times when I decided to answer. A man with an Indian accent asked me if I booked with CheapoAir and wanted to confirm my phone number. I didn't purchase anything through them but he automatically switched me over to another number for confirmation and it was Wachovia (Wells Fargo) Bank and the rep there was just as confused as me. I don't even bank with them, so I called my cell phone carrier and had the number blocked. I was afraid I was going to have a call charge from out of the country or some scam.

Don't Answer the call and have it blocked!!

I just got a call 4rm this number this morning and the india guy say something about a ticket that i booked and someone was trying to use my credit card but the funny thing is that i didnt evn booked a ticket with cheap air at all or never did i so i was like this sounds really fishy....but the guy left a number for me to call back so i did 88-793-4225....when i call he pick up and ask me for my booking #??? and i told him that someone left me a message on my phone stating about a ticket but i never booked a ticket 4rm them all all and he didnt answer me and suddenly put me on hold...then ive just hang up cuz maybe it was  a scam so if anyone gets a call frm this # 212-212-1211 DO NOT PICK UP OR IF THEY LEAVE A MESSAGE WITH A CALL BACK # DONT CALL ....THANK YOU

I just got a call from this number as well. I bought a vacation package thru CheapOair last night. My cheap brother recommended it. I know I should have stayed with Expedia. Now I am calling my bank to set a daily limit on my card. After all the final price was about the same as Expedia and Continental. When you buy cheap, you get cheap and hacked.

2122121211 is a phone number used by call centers in India.  I recently tried to book a flight through CheapOair.com (NIGHTMARE) and was connected to an Indian call center.  Whenever they drop a call because connectivity is so poor, this is the number that pops up on my caller ID.

I booked a flight with CheapoAir a few days ago. I received an E-mail confirmation that my flight was set. I'm living abroad and gave my parents number as a contact number, and they started receiving calls from this number (caller ID New York). They said they were chaeopair and asked for verbal confirmation of the passengers names and flight dates. I also received 3 strange E-mails from a cheapoair domain address. The first asked for me to call from the contact number to confirm my tickets, the second asked me to fax a copy of my passport and credit card front and back, and the last said that the verification process had been completed. I don't know if it's a scam or not, either way, it's pretty shady. I won't be booking with cheapoair again.

I think it is a generic entry into our phone system for call centers in India or Pakistan because any callback you get for repair or whatever comes from a similar number

I got a similiar call. Since I checked out that number online I know it's from cheapqair.com and did not answer. They left a message and wanted my passport info.  And it's also an Indian guy who called. I think this is a scam. Will be reporting this and I think we all should.

My credit card company advises keeping an eye on your credit reports.  The Indian guy told me it could be as easy as keying in the wrong credit card number ..

I'm just perplexed on how they got my cell phone number when I don't give it to anyone.  I still have a Lan Line I use to fiter crap.

I got a message call from this person and yes hard to understand.  Wanted to know if I charged a flight.  YIKES heck no.  Called my credit card company and they are declining and reissuing my credit card to be on the safe side.

This heavy accented man called my cell today Oct 8, 2010 about some airline tickets. Recently my atm was scammed and used by someone maybe this outfit. Who are they?

They keep on calling me, the guy with an strong Indian accent claims to be from the federal gov, and that he was a check of $10,000, his nave is "Steve" even tho he is calling from a "governmental agency' he kept on insisting for me to give him my last name and home address, if it was really from the IRS they would be more professional, send a letter first with all the legal registration, a call back number, and detail information.

better option, call your  cellphone carrier and asked them to block any incoming calls form that number :)
