person has called my home everyday and weekends claiming something about my ip address and to go in front of my computer so they can correct the problem. Hung up on him again.

Why can no one stop these phone calls I even get them in the middle of the night. It's starting to get annoying . I'm on a do not call list why do the phone company's not honor there agreement.

This number just called me for the first time. Please make it stop!

I get this call also and when I answer they will not reply

Said my computer was infected.
I said he was a liar and hung up.

They still called back 2 weeks later, it is a very common scam and is being operated worldwide.

Needed a new phone anyway, so I got a Panasonic KX-TG7871 which has call blocking built in (up to 250 numbers in this model). Other models can block 30 calls, or you can buy little stand alone call blocker units that you can add to your phone line and they do the same job.

Phone companies should make this service available for free, not rely on you to buy you own. Until then I advise everyone to buy one, as the feeling of satisfaction of catching and blocking nuisance call after call, every single day is wonderful.

missed call no msg

Received a call from this number.  I answered  it and some man with a foreign accent was trying to convince that my computer was being hacked THIS VERY MOMENT!!  
He said he could stop the hacking if I would give him some info.  Definitely a scam,  do not give any info.

212-212-2212 or whatever - some chick with a heavy Indian accent said she was calling because i have a PC and was getting some bad viruses or illegal downloads on my computer. Then she asked if i was near my computer. I said "I don't know what you're talking about." and right then she saw I wasn't some easy mark or compliant little old man, so she hung up in my ear. This is the second call from that number in two days, and I also am on the national do not call list, which doesn't stop anyone as far as I can tell.

You clearly have no understanding of how the Do Not Call list works if you honestly expect it to prevent scammers from calling you.  The best you can do is to report the call with both the caller ID number and the call back number.

They said my computer is sending out error messages.  I told him I didn't believe him and that I would report him for phishing, he gave me a call back number of 661-243-0061 - clearly NOT what was on my caller ID. Being on the Do Not Call list does me absolutely no good.

I've been on the Do Not Call list since it came out. It used to work, really. I have turned in numerous numbers and quit. But since the government spending money everywhere else except to help us it doesn't work anymore there's probably no funds for useful things like this.  The first thing you do wrong answer the number if you don't know who it is that lets them know somebody's interested so they keep calling back again and again and again.  If it is important enough they will leave a message if not don't worry about it.  As for whistling screaming loud music that doesn't work they have a decibel limiter. I've been told answer it and save police department with no other information that can get you into trouble it seems to help don't know  never tried it. If you don't answer to a few times they will cease to call at least it works for me.

Microsoft does NOT call people, unless you have called them first or put in a help ticket online!  They do not monitor individual computers for "errors".  I would not trust them.  Do not give them remote access to your computer.  This is a scam - read about it at http://www.microsoft.com/security/online-privacy/avoid-phone-scams.aspx

They told me they are a Microsoft certified technician and my computer at home is showing errors and he will help me fix ,them.. Im not sure I trust this.

Damn idiot has called me 4 times in one month with a false claim that my computer was putting out viruses and my personal information.

Little did this India person know that this is a Law Office and the number he called was on a do not call registry.

Our office does not take solicitation by cold call, and false identification. .

I am originally from India and this man called my home in PA asking for me. When my mother picked up and said that she does not speak english, the man asked if she speaks hindi and she said no, he asked for my cell phone number and she did not give. he ended the call. My mother thought his accent sounded Indian (many posts here indicate the foreign accent).

I got a call from this number +212 212 2122 and a guy with a foreign accent told me that he works for the USA IRS and that I've been selected by the government to receive a $1000 and that he needed my bank account number to transfer the money. This is a big bu***hit, some sort of new skim so be careful. The authorities should look into that. Its not cool that someone would say they work for the government in order to rob you or break into your bank account. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!

Annoying with repeated calling.

Just got a customer call stating customer is getting calls from this number and are calling her names and asking for her bank info

they call here 3 4 times daily,   I answered and waited until someone came on the line,   a foreign man,  I told him not to call to remove my number  he said I NEVER CALL HERE BEFORE.  I said dont call again and hung up
I called the number   it is disconnected.   They called again,  I told them again,   and said I was turning them in,  and he laughed.   They just called again, and I answered and hung up.    how do you make them stop?

Call from very poor English speaking person, 'I am calling on behalf of...' nothing else was inteligeable, repeated at least 3 times and then he hung up.

Foreign sounding man. Asking if name of home owner was here. Then our answering machine hung up on him.

I am getting the same calls....this guy is totally impossible to understand and does not take no for an answer.  I have been on the "do not call list' for over two years.  I doesn't seem to help...I still get these calls.

just got a call, or rather 3 calls from this number tonight. the first time i answered a foreign man answered asking for me by name. i asked who was calling and he said his name was "William Smith" in his not so american accent. i'm sorry, but i busted out laughing and hung up the phone. william smith....uh huh.
so then he called back. i answered again and there was no one there so i hung up.
he calls again. i answered it (yes glutent for punishment) and he sounds mad. starts asking me why i hung up on him and then calls me "honey"
i said excuse me, why do you keep calling, and he said because he likes the sound of my voice. that was when my husband grabbed the phone and then the guy hung up.
hopefully they won't call again.

We received an apartment lead from this phone # with an email address of vm@hotmail.com.  They were followed up on via an email and was not returned to us.

Called twice today and once last week.  On the second call today I answered and it started ringing on thier end.  I hung up
