the calls were persistent and no one would answer when i picked up the phone. i called the number and the woman claims they are the "Verizon Winback" program. We currently have verizon. She said they would take us off thier calling list. Sounds bogus to me

They gave the whole Verizon merged with MCI speech, asked me questions they should know if they were in fact Verizon, and when I pressed, the guy got all mad and hung up.

SCAM!

I just received a call and she said she was an agent from Verizon.  That Verizon has merged with MCI and they can save my company money by eliminating the middle man.  She did know the name of the vendor we use now. She asked me how many phone lines the company has and when I said I would not answer that question, she hung up.

I just received a call from this number that was a hang up! What's the deal anyone know?

these people called and didn't leave a vm.  when I called back, a weird messaging service picks up.

They always hangup when I answer the phone.
