Who is this....any clues???

I just received 1 today and the other day. No clue who it is. It states this is not a sales call but then goes into selling home alarms

got 1 this morning no message

called last evening and this morning---supposedly I won a free security system. I am on the Do Not Call lsit and will be filling out a complaint to the FCC

This is a bogus company claiming to be selling home security systems.  Report them to the FCC - it is very simple - the form is on line.  

They will probably call your number from many other lines - please contact the FCC - I did and they are pursuing my complaint but the more who complain the better

Does someone know who calls from this number.

They are persistent.  I keep blocking the calls and they keep finding new numbers to call from.  So far they've used 212-236-9461, 701-625-5003, 206-911-1234 and 406-968-0874.  I know Verizon will let you block calls not sure about everybody else.  Can anyone track down a company name, perhaps a web site?

P.S. I forgot to mention that my phone number is on the do-not-call list, too.

This company keeps calling me on my cell phone, which is on the do-not-call list,  from various numbers trying to sell me home security systems. I also have gotten the same robocall from 213-577-2222.

I  have received at least 4 calls from this number in 2 days..212-236-9461..I am on the do not call list. And it infuriates me that these scammers are calling my cell phone. I am keeping a list of unwanted, unsolicited scam #s to report, if that does any good.

Just received a call on my mobile phone (at 12:05pm EST). No matter was left behind. My phone is on the Do Not Call list -- I had been getting a lot of spam on my phone lately.

from your cell phone call 1-888-382-1222 and that should block telemarketers from calling.

Per the Do not call website, you can file a complaint on any telemarketing company that either called you after your nubmer was registered for 31 days or more, and/or the number that called was a recorded message and not a live person. I've been registered for well over 31 days and just recently started getting these calls. I have filed a complaint with the nationaly registry (donotcall.gov). I sugguest everyone else do the same. That way the more complaints the faster these people can be stopped.

This is John Bonomo, and I do work at Verizon.  However not in any capacity to shut down this service.  I have taken several of the emails that have been sent to me and forwarded them to our Security organization for investigation.  Be assured this issue is being handled.

I agree.  I get calls at least twice a day and I just don't answer.  I did try to call them and as you stated, the call cannot go through.

I received a call last night and one just now 03/16/11  at 9:27am. It said Manhattan, NY. Although I have some family there, none of them know my cell number. ;-)  I did not answer both times because I did not reconize the number and of course they did not leave a voice mail. I will not answer them, and I will try to block this number.

I just got a call from them on my cell phone. I missed it, but when I called back I got an error message from Verizon. Who telemarkets at 9:00PM ?

Called my cell phone today, but I did not answer as I did not recognize the number. After reading these reports, I'm glad I didn't. How on earth did they get my cell phone number? I will go to Verizon Wireless website and block the number. The National Do not Call list is useless. My landline and cell phones are listed there but it doesn't help.

I told them I was not interested and they kept pursuing me with a very antagonistic attitude.
