Received a call on my business line/cell phone from this number. Did not leave a message, I did not answer the call. Caller ID just showed number, and New York, NY.

You made a mistake by answering the phone, and then made another mistake by pushing a button and talking to someone.  You verified to the scammers that your phone number is active and that there is a live fish on the end of the line.  The calls will now be relentless..........never ending.  Please think twice before doing this again!

Received call yesterday with "212-237-0099 NY,USA) at 9:17 A.M. with the same robo autodialer "Lowering my interest rates on my credit cards." message. Ignored it then and today at 1:04 P.M. I received the same message with the caller ID this time reading "No Caller ID" with the identical robo call to "Lowering my interest rates on my credit cards."  this time I selected "1" as instructed and got some gent on the line saying they worked with card member services and when asked for my name, I would not provide him my information until they identified themselves and there company. After the speech I explained my apprehension and as they kept asking for account information I inquired why wasn't this offer mailed to me. I apologized that until I was comfortable that who I was talking did represent "card member service" they were not getting any details. That was when he got snarky and told me to stick the card up my backside. Fine way to treat a valued customer.  I immediately contacted my credit card company explain the receipt of the calls over two days and the scenario. No offer as described had been authorized by them or affiliates. I shared the number (212-237-0099) with them so they can relay it to their own internal security and investigative resources to go after them. Happy hunting!

IM a college student in utica NY. This number called me at 8am. I didnt answer, and seeing this, im not calling back.

Someone called today from this number at 9:30am. My caller ID reads Jeffrey M. Jones. The message left was a stupid automated(another dumb robo call)message about "Lowering my interest rates on my credit cards." I don't have ANY credit cards, so there is nothing to lower, so quit calling here! These folks are going to be reported!

Well, I don't have any credit cards so there is nothing for me to lower. These calls are annoying. I am on the DNC list, so these people are going to be reported fr harrassment!

this number called me today at 11:12 a.m.   I didn't answer, but did try to call it back   LOL   It's still ringing!

Do you realize that you don't have to give your phone number out for these people to call?
They just dial random numbers. Your number comes up and pow...there you are.

It appears to belong to a Jeffrey M. Jones of Durham Jones & Pinegar. A law firm in New York City, but who's main offices are in Salt Lake City Utah. Jeffery M. Jones was educated at Brigham Young University, and the University of Utah. You all didn't happen to p****off the Mor(m)ons at some point did you?

In Maryland. Just received a call on home line. CID listed it as Jeffrey Jones. Did not answer.

Also, I'm in CA but my cell is a MA number. Not sure that matters.

Got a call from this number as well. I am also in PA. I found a reference for it to a Jeffrey Jones, listed as a lawyer in NYC.

Got a call at 9:17AM ET this morning. Didnt answer. Tried to call back and it rang at least 20 times before I just hung up.
