I had a missed call on my cellphone here in New Zealand yesterday. My cell is readily available on the internet so it wouldn't be hard for him to latch onto it. I'll be ready for him if he calls back now ;)

Got a call from this Number too. He asked for the mobile Number of our Manager. I told him that i cant give him the number and if i may help him.

He asked for the number again and i repeated my last words. And then again...

He got upsed soon and told me he will tell his secretary to get the number for him and hang up with no Bye or anything.

I wonder if they try it again...

Got a call from the same number. Googled it and it is supposed to registered to an M.Stone 15 W 53rd St,  New York, NY 10019? I didn't reply either. I imagine it is telemarketing some brokerage services for the gullible.

Man with American accent called to my Swiss mobile phone. He said he is from a brokerage company and wanted to get my e-mail address for sending me info material. Obviously some telemarketing.
Had caller ID +12122452670  (international American prefix, 212 for Manhattan)

Got a call from the same number to my German Phone! He said he is from a big company in USA - NY! Hehe but i said that i cant understand him, so he hang on...

I get the same Call in Germany with same ID and same Story. They try to reach me since a few Weeks but I don't Answer - and do not listen if you tell them you are not Interested

got a call to a german cell number, apparently a telemarketer from E1.
asked for email adress to send details.

they seem to have bad list management or at least questionable sources.
asking where the contact came from i was told they look for small
business owners who might be interested. however i don't appear in
any publicly available listings in my field, not to speak of yellow pages or such.

27-08-2009 ~ 17:18 - I got a call with that number, but not with the +1, my caller used +44 for Great Britain - male voice, called my german mobile phone number, asked to speak to the Managing Director.

The caller told me his name is Zag, he is from 44 Wall Street New York. Company I didn´t understand.

Told me something about Brokerage or something to spend money in.
I told him I am not interessted, but he won´t let me out of that call - it took 8 Minutes.
My Number came from a mailing list to him.  (I think there are people who look into facebook or myspace for phone Numbers.

Sounds like a call-center (other persons in background). The caller sounds like an east european trying to speak good english. (it was never an american or an british english !)

The number I have on the display is not existing in GB !!

Tried to sell me US stocks. Said no.
Wanted my email to send me details. Said no.
Kept trying to get me to give him my details, inform me of CGT benefits in US markets....so I ended the call.

I got today this call. Who is this men and what does he wants. And where does he knows my cell number?

Also got a call from +1-212-245-2670 on my German mobile.  Missed the call because I wasn't around.  Most likely this was an untargeted call; my number is unlisted and there is just a single web page listing it without the international prefix.

I had a call just now from 212-245-2670 asking for the managing director, which we do not have. Then he asked for the head of finance, which we do not have. I told him we were a one man small shop and he clicked off. Our shop is in the Caribbean but I didn't get that far....  seemed like a random call.

Call was offering a full service brokerage account to be opened at Pershing LLC.
The caller ID appears to be a transposition of the ?real? number for E1 which according to the E1 website is 1-212-425-2670

Calls almost every day to my uk mobile, I never answer calls from unknown numbers or private numbers.  They will leave a msg if urgent.  They give up eventually.  I just press the silent tone every time these callers ring

After the first Call at 27th August, I got calls at 31st August (with UK number),
then Break 3 weeks -
next calls 23rd / 25th / 28th of September next calls, everytime the same Voice, the same Question - "is Christopher there". (September Calls without numbers)

The caller speaks no british or american english. It sounds like Middle European English.

Call Back is not possible, number doesn´t exist.

I informed the Police and they will get any Informations I found in the last 4 weeks.

On 24th of August a male voice called me to talk to my friend (the voice knew his name).
Later they contacted me again - September 21st - a US number, i didnt answer, after about 2 hours same number but a call from UK (+44).

When i tried to call back, telephone was dialing, noone answered but the time was lapsing.

What can be rate for such a mysterious call ?

Called me yesterday. I did not answer. Called me again today. Again, I did not answer. I'll try to think of something when I pick up :)

I had exactly the same, except when I confirmed that I was the owner of the business, the American "gentleman" just hung up!

US male left a message in my voice mail. My cel is Spanish. This guy was asking about my name. He got it from my voice mail greeting. He spoke bad Spanish
