got the same call, NY number. funny to find everyone with the same post about same number. I like to pull the "Seinfeld" and ask for their home number so I could call them back, if it's a live person calling.

thanks for the comments guys. I was expecting an important phone call regarding a new job, and when I saw I had a missed call from this number, I freaked out a bit. Glad to know I didn't miss out on anything important.

I would love to hear that these people were castrated in their sleep.  In purgatory, hundreds of phones ring, constantly.  They must pick up the correct phone at just the right time, decipher whether the information is true or just a scam.  If they are incorrect or miss the correct call, it doesn't happen again for hours, weeks or months.

Received a call from 212-253-5499- Did not answer and no message was left- Looked up # on reverse phone lookup- Number belongs to PIzza Hut. Probably some disgruntled employee making prank calls or using their emp;oyers phone to perpetrate identity theft.  Dont give out any personal info.  Its a scam.

I also received a call from212-253-5499 did not answer, tried to call back and line busy constantly.
Googled the number, said it was out of New York, a solicitor I'm sure. I have now reported the number.
I'm sure these people read the comments left here and laugh! Get a life will you.

Got this call this morning, pressed #1 and asked the person how didi they get my # and they hung up. Called back busy

I also got this phone call around 10 am, woke me up. I went to call back, but I got nothing. Probably a telemarketer like you guys are saying.

Got this phone call on my cell! Didn't answer because I was at work but no message, strange number. After reading what everyone else has said I'm glad I didn't bother leaving the conference room to take the call.

Just received a call from this number
The caller ID said it was Pizza Hut
When I answered it was a recording saying it was about my credit card with them being in good standing and they had an offer to lower my interest rate.
I didn't know Pizza Hut had credit cards!
Whoever is making these calls; hello get a brain....some people do have caller ID

I am on the DO NOT CALL list and this number showed up with the name Pizza Hut in the caller ID. When I answered it was a robo call for lowering my rate on credit cards...Now how did they get Pizza Hut as their name in caller ID and why am I getting the call in the first place?

Message was that they could lower the interest rate on my "credit card" and this was my last notice.

I also received the phone call as well,  I didn't answer and no message was left.

I received this call also.  I did not answer also, as I did not recognize and they did not leave a message.  I googled the phone number and it said it belonged to Gwendolyn Rohena In New York.  Whatever Gwen, stop the nonsense!

This number called me on 7/30/2013.  There was an automated message speaking in very general terms about "my credit card account."  Scummy people.

This is a company calling regarding credit cards.  I believe they want to reduce your interest rates.  When you tell them you don't have a credit card, they hang up.  The area code is from NYC.
