This number has called our home line a couple times in the past week.  They have not left any messages previously.  Today I answered and they asked for my husband by first name, I told them he was at work - they would not leave a message or tell me why they were calling.

this number calls but, never leaves a message. I called it back and I get a recording that the number dialed can not be completed.

Today I saw a missed call on my cell phone. 212-266-5399. They didn't leave a message. I called the number and reached a message that said the number was not valid.

I keep getting calls from this number and some guy always asks for Abhdul and I hang up, call back, and a recording says this number is not valid.

This outfit is an Internet Yellow pages hard-sell slam-scammer.  They will try to trick you into committing to advertize on their websites by claiming you already are there.  Well that may be, but they put you there themselves by filching everything about you and your business they can find on the Internet and posting it as though you approved it.  They will know names and titles of people in your organization and try to give the impression that you already do business with them.  If you even hesitate to hang up on them they will use your recorded conversation to justify sending you a bill. You need to educate all of your staff and especially the receptionist/phone person about these types of slam-artists.  They are right up there with the, "Can you get me the serial number from your copier so we can be sure we are sending the right toner?" slam-scammers. These folks probably have several call centers besides (212)266-5399.  The only other center I have currently identified uses (212)266-5388.

I am aslo getting calls from these people and as soon as I find out who it is they are going to be prosicuted. I am sick of them calling me everyday I dont care if I have to pay to get their information once i do they are toast.

Very Harrassing calls

I received this call every week.  I usually don't answer the call I don't recognize.  Once I did answer, a lady said she was calling from Yellow Page and ask me if I would like to have two free month advertizing.  However, I never post any advertizing in Yellow Page.  I hung up and call this number back.  But this number is not existed.

I am the office manager for a small office.  Businesses are not allowed to be placed on the DNC list.  The first time they called, they actually talked to me about the yellow pages and I said we were not interested in advertising.  But then I started getting daily calls, and after I give the answering announcement, they hang up.  Today, I decided not to give the announcement, and they were forced to either hangup or say hello first, which they did the later.  After explaining to her the above, I asked to speak to a manager, she turned around and talked to somebody, then hung up on me.  I think I'll bring an air horn to work and blast it instead of answering the phone; that get them the message (I hope).

This is most annoying and time consuming.  They call in on every business line we have, several times a week.  Can anyone prevent these people from doing this?

They call all our lines......all the time....it is really annoying.  Mostly hang-up calls.  All of our lines are on the DNC list.

We receive usually two calls per day at our home number.  I never pick up, but when it goes to answering machine you can hear an open line with quiet typing in the background.  We have been receiving them every day for at least two weeks.

I'm receiving calls from this number every single day. The call always goes into my voicemail. On the voicemail message, I can hear typing in the background, but they have never left an actual message.  I tried calling the number back today, but there is a recording saying the number is no longer in service.

Annoying person calling trying to list information in the yellow pages.  Stop calling us please!!!!!!!!

Arab sounding jibbirish in the background. Calling 3X a day. Thank God for Caller ID. Hangs up after a couple of seconds.

Number left on caller ID. No answer when called. No message left. I am on the No Call List.

Same as everyone else - repetitive calls, never a message when we're not here, usually hangs up if answered. The latter is a common practice of automated telemarketing systems - they determine when you're there to answer such that they do not waste THEIR time. Anyway, I finally spoke to someone, yup - Super Yellow Pages - heavy Hispanic accent (yes I am bi-lingual) - did not sound Mexican, could not identify her nationality. I read her the riot act in two languages, and she hung up. We shall see, but in the meantime, I will complain via every avenue available.

I'm not clear on how you made this connection - please explain, and we will chase it down (wife used to be a Defense Department attorney).

ENOUGH ALREADY! We're getting several calls a day - same crap - they hang up, no message.

Answered but no reply...just a hang up. They must be a scam outfit. Beware!

I advise sending them a bill for the lease on your phone line to call you.  That is what I am doing.

This is the company that owns the website that is associated with the number.  I am calling and bothering them... turn about is fair play.... I am going to send them a bill for my time as well.

These people (if they are people) are a pest and should be prevented from doing business.

Just called, no one answers.

Just got a call from this number, but some one was there saying hello, but since they did not answer right away, i assumed telemarketer.  if i would have known you were all looking to find out who called you, i would have said some thing

2nd time... in a week, they call and hang up, it says "unknown" on the caller ID, then I found out it was some "Superpages" from Florida? do not need it....

4 calls to my cell phone from this number, and I am not even a business!!!

You can report them to the FCC fccinfo@fcc.gov just list the number 212 266-5399 and tell them that they keep calling and bugging u.
