hey! i was searching about this wabsite and got here. tomorrow i have a oppointment but i am confuse after reading all these post. i want to get little more info about it that is it really fake ?

Got a call from these pple about 20 minutes ago. Some chick that had absolutly no class or phone manners and talked like there was a bomb strapped to the phone and would go off if she didn't speak fast, tried to get me in today, but I said I was unavailable. She set me up for an interview tomorrow at 3pm. As soon as she told me the address, I knew it was a scam-asarus rex since that area is dingy and deserted. I also remember going there a very long time ago, and the office made a Cracker-Jack box look like a penthouse. Very unprofessional, it looked like a carpeted hole in the wall.

Hey guys, THANKS so much for the postings above. 212 244 4330 gave me a call at 10.30am today and called themselves M Entertainment, for an audition on extras for Jim Carrey's movie. A girl named Stacy said I posted my add online for actress, which is not true though I've returned some replied on craiglist on a photo shooting ad. Whatever the case, ladies & gentlemen, we all love craiglist but PLS BE CAREFUL!

Nowdays, I'll inform my close friends my whereabouts for auditions/meetings found in craighlist just in case. Recently, a guy killed the WABC Radio newsman after their supposely erotic exchange...so just to beware.

Hell ya, now it saves alot of my time to go there for BS and perhaps even endanger myself ...phewwwww I'll google everything before I go for an appointment, let us remind all our friends to do the same!

omgg they called me today from 212-268-9734 and gave me the same address but the room was 206.. the guy sounded cool but the whole phone call was ghetto..and weid

Well, I for one said the a similar comment that other poster did. That the girl who left the message for me sounded "getto toned".  I for one didn't say the girl the left my message was black, but I feel that it's 99.9% certain that she was.

I happen to be black myself, so it's not about being racist, its just about characterizing how she sounded. Saying someone sounds, or is "ghetto", is nothing more than typical urban slang.

I think sometimes people - like you - get way too over-sensitive about stuff. We're all grown ups, so lets be upfront about it. Whats the big thing?  

I am a 43 year old black male, born in New York city, and currently live in West Harlem. I think I am pretty experienced at telling voices apart - be it a "ghetto" black sista' from round-the-way, or a Loca Latina girl from the Bronx, or a White girl from the Upper West Side, or an Italian Lolita from Long Island. It's not about being racist, it's about life experience.

Glad everyone is posting about this. I replied to an ad of Craigslist (I PASTED BELOW FOR YOU ALL TO SEE).

   Anyway, I replied to the ad, and got a voicemail from them the next morning. The girl said her name was "Sandy" I think, and her voicemail sounded like she was very young, and had a very "getto toned" accent. She spoke so fast on the voicemail that I had to replay the voicemail like 6 or 7 times just to try and make out what she was saying. She sounded like she was purposely slurring the name of the company - something-soemthing-"Entertainment"???, and her message said to call her back, but on a different number - the last two digit of which I could barely make out, but sounded like 212-244-4430

Well, already getting a fishy vibe about it, I decided to google the number she actually called from ( 212-244-4487 ), and got linked to this site.

Thankfully I won't be wasting my time calling her back.

OK......so this SCAM is still up and running....I just got a call myself....but thankfully I googled the address and found this site.....DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

WOW!!! THiS PLACE iS RiDiCULOUS!! They called me today and wanted to set me up for an interview for tomorrow. They don't ask anything about you, nor do they ask for which area u may be interested in. The number was 212-268-8013.. the girl who called me sounded really ghetto and spoke really fast. I decided to do my research on the number, since they don't post the agency name on the add, and found this cite. It really sucks they would do this! I was actually excited about going!! Oh well, on to the next one! If anyone know of a legit site, it would be appreciated if u posted it. Thanks! =]

Thank God I googled. I got the same call from 212-268-9734 after I answer a ad. I ask the guy who called me email me their address and guess what did he say?? "I can't! I don't have a computer..." I'm thinking then how did you get my number because I apply to the ad by email. Lying!!

Anyway their address he told was 224 W 35th Street Between 7th and 8th Ave 2nd floor Room # 206. So if you guys get this number and address DO AVOID!

Googled the address and found this.  so glad you all saved me a trip.  They said they had extra jobs for Men in Black 3.  I am out of work and need a job so I figured I had nothing to loose.   Would have been a waste of my time and travel money.  UGH!

Another number they are using now is 212 244 4431.  This time they claimed they are auditioning for Law and Order SVU extras.  When I called they said they're looking for actors, models, extras and when I asked about Law and Order they said, "oh yeah, that."  They didn't even know what ad I was responding to.  You would think they'd try to sound legitimate.  I keep doing searches on craigslist for extra work and getting contacted by these people.  Stay away from them.  It's so disheartening when they give the address and I think, "Oh, it's those scammers again."  Anyway, I hope others find this useful.  And to those of us working to really work as actors and models in this city-good luck!  Stay alert for your safety but keep trying.

Hey, I just got a call today from them regarding my response to their ad on craigslist. A guy named Daniel answered the phone when I called back after missing their first phone call. He told me the address was 224 West 35th st between 7th and 8th Ave.  Room 206. 2nd Floor. My family and friends told me to check up on them online first to make sure if it was legit or not. Thank God I did and I found this site with all your posts. Thanks for saving me the hassle and the money. Can't thank all of you enough!!!!

Holy crap thank you all for posting this, almost fell for it but the guy sounded so damn shady... THANKS! DO NOT GO TO THEIR "INTERVIEW", everywhere I look people are being scammed by this "Agency". They can kiss my a**.

Im under 18 as well, and I looked on craigslist for an easy way to get cash fast, and I clicked on extras work for law and order, ans 9 got the call from 212 244 4483 and a guy answered as daniel, but when i called back, they said that there was no daniel, and they didn't ask me for my age or anything, and i got a call from 212 2689734r and this weird receptionist answered the phone, its phony right away

So I guess they are posting ads in regards to something else now.I applied to an ad they posted on craigslist yesterday as a Replenishment Clerk(I will post the ad underneath) and needless to say the first sign to me should have been that they spelled 'Replenishment' in their ad WRONG! So I just received a call from a number 212-268-9734 and waited to see if they will leave a message(like I always do-SCREEN CALLS, if they don't leave a message than most likely it's not legit!).I got a message from a guy named Daniel that was so rushed, I had to listen to it at least 8 times just to get the number he said to call him back on which was(need I say it?) 212-244-4330. Of course I decided to look this number up and behold, I found this forum. I am pissed but unfazed; I had a gut feeling so I'm happy I listened to it. Any person who talks that fast on a message does not want you to HEAR the freakin' message. What an IDIOT !!! I actually feel like calling him and calling him out on his BS! I am so glad I googled the address to this SCAM of a place. NOW I know NOT TO WASTE MY TIME AND MONEY GOING THERE. Well, I am the bitchy type, since they talked about me in a will smith movie i got very suspicious. and looked it up here, I now called his publicist and left a message in her voicemail with my number. If I am lucky they will call back, I mean if I had a star I wouldn't want his name affiliated with these kind of people.

oh I answered an add on plus size modelling, they were so quick with getting me in there that I decided to do my homework THANK YOU ALL. Same adress, same number.. 212 244 4483 I set an appointment tomorrow. Guess what I won't be coming, and if they call me back I will give them an earfull..
