Didn't I see you on a commercial, it was for the world's most int...... Oh wait, now I remember.  It is the worlds most annoying troll --- I somehow suspect if your opportunity was so great you wouldn't have to cold call people for it, and if you were getting more action than James Bond why show up on the Internet to brag about it.  About as impressive at those "informational" session to find out about "investment opportunities"  we used to go to in college for shetz and giggle and free food.  

In all seriousness, I hope this poster was "trying" to be witty or sarcastic, and it is just not strong suit.  If they attempted to proffer that as an argument,  I suspect capitalism will be safe for a few more decade since this fellow is no Warren Buffett. Got the call from "Jennifer" asking me to call Mr. Troy Orlando just now.  Return number was 212-268-3557.  Clearly, they are still at it, scamming people right and left.

Have been receiving Anonymus tel. calls. Someone states he is calling from Troy Orlando's office. when I asked for name ,and reason the call was abruptly disconnected.

Answered a call for my boss.  The called said he was Cesar. I had to press him for the company name, which he stated was Darbie.  I told the caller that my boss was in a meeting.  The caller had the balls to ask if I could interrupt him and let my boss know that he was on the line.  REALLY????  I told him it wasn't possible, as he was at another location for the meeting.  When I asked him for his number and a message, he gave me his number and said, "He should be familiar."  Big tip off right there.  The bull-s****ers always say that. Yeah, right. I was supposed to interupt a meeting for that?  Glad I checked online to verify my intuition.

"Martha" with Mark Ehrenman's office just called for my boss.  I told her that if she hung up on me again without giving me a proper message to pass on that I will block her call. She stuttered and stammered her way through the convo and obviously is not a good solicitor.  If you can't pass along a proper call, then find another job sweetie! STOP CALLING ME we don't want to talk to a wanna be broker!

Just received a call from a foreign girl.  Said she was calling from Mark Ehrenman's office.  I asked for a return number she gave me 212-269-3557.  I inquired who this company was and she would not answer my question.

Obnoxioux guy under name Brendan Bushman called me and has been for last year.  Total scam.  The number now calling from is 212-269-7271

An attorney i'm working for just received a call from them saying they call him from time to time to discuss his financials and said the company was Breezes. Right before I hung up the caller id showed JH Darbie. This is crazy.

Secretar for Troy Orlando called asking to speak to the CEO.  I asked if I could say who was calling and she gave her name.  Asked what it was regarding and she got very haughty and said just tell him Troy
Orlando's office is calling like he was some kind of a big shot.  I took the number 212-269-3557 and threw the message away.

Marc Ehrenman asked for my very busy boss about an "email issue" which I know is untrue because I help take care of my boss' emails. Gave his name and number but would not leave a specific message and just asked for a call back at my boss' "earliest convenience." Acted as if he was in a big hurry and as if talking to me was such a hassle. Condescending jerk.

Just got a call for my boss (who is so crazy busy this week - even't I can't get a quick moment to speak with him!) ... Caller said he was "Mark Ehrenman" (had to ask him to spell it out for me, as I'd never heard of him before).  

He took on a haughty air of importance, and patronisingly said to me:
"Just tell him I'm calling from Brandon's office".  

Totally weird/suspicious call, for a few reasons:

1.  Other professionals who call us always - as a matter of course - announce their full name, what company they are from, and are very happy to explain what their call is about (usually because they need urgent advice - my boss is an expert in his field).  

2.  When I have to let callers know that my boss is on a conference call with a client (which he often is!) they don't act surprised or annoyed about it.  They are happy to leave a message - with their direct line, email address etc.  They DON'T act dodgy or mysterious.  They don't talk DOWN to me, or try to intimidate me.  

Sales people are also a dead give away when they are pigheaded and pushy.  Crikey mate - no means "NO".  (I wonder if he treats the women he dates like this?  He just comes across as insanely CREEPY).

This guy pressed ALL the wrong buttons.  So now I don't care even if he WAS calling for a genuine reason, being rude just got him nowhere, real fast.

He has a snowflake's chance in hell of me ever putting his call through to my boss.  

Rude "Wall Street" toss pot.  (Oh, according to your LinkedIn profile, you're an "Intern" with brokerage firm J H Darbie & Co.  Wow!  Get a REAL job, mate!!)  

It was greedy scam artist stockbroker/banker types that got the USA into the pain it's now going through! Ordinary Americans should not be paying the price for the GREED of these people!!!

Don't you guys have some decent laws in the US (like the Financial Ombudsman's Office, or some other regulatory body), to slap this dodgy dude down?

"Mark Erinman" from "Brandon's office" - obviously same story as above.  Yes, always a bad sign then I don't recognize the name and the caller suggests in the message he has a preexisting relationship.  Sheesh . . .why would I do business with anyone that operates that way?

Just received a call from Troy Orlando's office also.  J.H. Darbie is how it registered on caller ID.  Said it was regarding an email.   I called the number back and a man answered saying that he was in the audit department but lines got crossed there all the time.  Scam ........

Just got a voice mail from this number telling me it was from Troy's office.

Yet another one.  It sounded fishy.  An oriental voice said he was calling from Troy Orlando's office and could I call Troy back.  I wish I could submit the audio on this post.  Maybe it would help others...

Scam call.  I answered my boss's line and he said he was "John from Randy's office" in a way that could lead you to believe that he was familiar to my boss.  Can't recall what the incoming line number was on the caller ID, but when he left a message with me, he left the number 212-269-3557.  He sounded completely annoyed with me that I would dare question who he was.

Latimer Kubastsky left a message that he wanted to discuss an E-mail issue before resending it.  I called to ask what they were talking about and they seemed skidish and said they would take a message for Latimer.

Received call from Brendan Bushman of JH Darbie asking to call him back on 212 269 3557. Call was made to Dublin, Ireland

Got a call from this number. Some brokerage firm. Nice guy but I already deal with couple of people.
