got a call from this number but did not answer. I did not recognized the number and didn't leave a message

Glad I looked up this number, they keep calling and its been getting annoying. Glad to read all your comments. I think next time they call I am going to speak in "Alien" and tell them I am from another planet and I have them on my raider. haha JUST LEAVE ME ALONE you stupid scam "artists".

After reading this, everytime they call I answer the phone with an airhorn to the phone.  They stopped calling after the 3rd time.

Called first time this morning so looked up the # and found this site -- didn't answer and won't try to call them back.  Thanks for the info.

Someone from this number repeatedly calls and never leaves a messae.  When I called them back, the phone just rings and rings, no voice mail and no one answers.

They just called our business and were very  rude and told me i was upsurd for not giving him my bosses cell number..seriously..They wouldn't tell me where they were calling from and they asked my name , which i obviously wasn't going to give them..

I got a call from the same number at 7:34 PST. No message, and it just beeps when I try to call it back..

A man claiming to be named Alex called you.  He has been harrassing us for a month now.  He claims to be a debt collector, however he refuses to send us proof of the debt he's trying to collect.  He asks for a credit card to pay the debt that he refuses to show proof for.  We have found no proof of the debt on our end.  He gets very mean and aggitated when you refuse or do not transfer him to who he is trying to contact.  He will call 6-10 times in a row.  Best way to get rid of him is to answer the phone, but say nothing.  I believe this is a scam.

I had the same problem as HMM, I had to block his number on my cell phone. The guy is very nasty and really rude.  He calls back to back and never leaves a message.

This creditor called me looking for someone with the same first name (probably different spelling) and same last name says I had a credit card with credit 1 from September 2008 to May 2009. Ask me if my social security number was XXX-XX-XXX (he game me someone else social security number) says my dated of birth was 7-9-1983 (again not my birth date) I told him that he had the wrong person. He insisted that if it was not me then I had a child with that name. I'm 30 years old. I don't have any kids let alone one old enough to even have a credit card. He then gave up and said there must have been some sort of mix up. I said damn right. It's Christmas eve and you calling for someone who I don't even know giving me their information. Lucky for me I have great credit and all my cards are paid off. Also Lucky for the woman he was looking for. She's lucky I am not one to steal credit. I would advise do not give these people your personal information.....I didn't. I'm not that dumb!

no mesage left on voicemail...called 4 times in a row....I just turned the phone off...love that feature about cell phones.

Debt collectors - MRS Associates Inc.  Can hardly speak english and extremely rude and demanding asking for personal info which was not given.  Call daily more than once.

debt collector from new york. he has called 4 times a day for a week straight but this is why i don't care:
1) Your credit is already affected from whatever company that u owed.  
2) the original company already wrote off the debt and your credit is already affected and can't be affected again.  
3) This phone number or any other collector bought your debt off a list for pennies on the dollar and whatever they collect from u is all profit.  example- john owes 1000k to citibank- but citibank already "wrote off" your debt as bad- your credit gets dinged but then after the company takes a lost, they put your name on a debt list and sell it to the highest bidder or these idiots.  
4) these idiots will do whatever it takes to make you pay, however they can't ruin your credit and can't legally do anything to collect the debt.  
5) their only recourse is to try and upset u to call back and pay something.  DON'T DO IT

calls constantly and gets very rude.  Calls 5 - 6 times per day.  Told him I am not the person he is looking for and asked my name.  He somehow accessed personal info on me and has even contacted my bank pretending to be me to access info regarding my bank account.  They are scammers. I've tried to be nice about it, but they have gone too far.  Would like to meet the Oriental man pretending to be me face to face to settle this.

Man calls.  Claims name is Alex.  Claiming to be trying to collect a debt that doesn't exist in our name.  Refuses to provide us with written proof of debt.  Wants to get a credit card number over the phone to pay for debt, but again we have no proof.  Gets really nasty with us on the phone.  Very mean and resorts to name calling.  Calls 6-10 times in a row.  Best way to get rid of him is to answer, but say nothing.  I think it is a scam.
