This is a daily call 212-345-6789 the name on caller ID show "marsh mclennan". I cannot hardly understand this person. I usually get no response but today it sounded like my last name and I said "wrong number".

I received a call today at 6:00pm Feb 5, 2014 from this number 1-212-345. No voice on other end. I hung up.

This device from amazon works. It is a British company. Check it out to stop these calls in the USA.

My number just says,, 23456789, i added my area code, recieved this page, what is there real number, the 23456789, does not go through??? Help

I've gotten several calls over the past few months from this number.  It always shows up as "Marsh, McLellan" with the same phone number on my caller ID.  When I answered a call from them a few weeks ago, the person said he was calling about a problem with my computer.  I said "yeah right, goodbye!"  and hung up.  I've seen several calls on my caller ID since then but they don't leave messages on voicemail.

This morning, the phone rang at 6:15am.  I was already up but when I answered the phone and they came on the line, this time saying I had purchased a new computer (which I actually had), I lit into them - "It's 6:15am, you woke me up, do not call me back, do not call me back, you are scammers, I am on the do-not-call list, do not call me, goodbye!"  I did not swear at them but I did yell at them.  

It's strange, they are scammers but their caller ID is always the same.  Other telemarketers show up as "unavailable" on caller ID.

Calls repeatedly - 8/14 @ 11:30am;8/15 @ 6:05 pm; 10:26 am on 8/16; 2:30 pm on 8/16.

There was a call from this number on my caller ID.  I called it back and I was told it was for my husband, James Ferguson.  He kept asking if he was here.  When I asked what it was about, he told me something about Windows on my computer.  It was hard to understand.  I thought that he must be Indian of from the East.  I ended up hanging up on him.  It sounding like he was trying to get personal information.

It is a scam, a never ending and desperate and relentless scam, harbored by Indians. They also have used 222-555-7777.

NEVER EVER GIVE OUT PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. Warn others, ignore the calls, blocking is useless, they will use another and never allow anyone access to your computer. NEVER EVER. All they want to do is steal your identities and credit card information. They only work they do is theft.

212-345-6777 - Just called my business a few minutes ago and claimed to be a company called USDirectory, though the phone number is a cell phone based out of NYC and through Verizon. I never heard of them, and didn't recognize the number, so while my secretary had them on the phone, I did a little searching. Found out that they are just like City Grid Media - AN ABSOLUTE SCAM! They are attempting to sell Pay Per Click advertising, and will rob you blind and empty your bank account for unverifiable advertising scams. Had my secretary tell them that we are not interested in their services, nor will we ever be. Have added their number to our Do Not Answer list. I got a call from this number telling me they were going to do an offline search of my Windows O/S to see if I have any "slow downs". I asked what version, Chris Walkens (perhaps it was Christopher Walkens?) he said all are affected and the name of the company is "Calls to take", which I'm assuming is short for "Calls to take unsuspecting peoples ip addresses and hijack their email and steal all their passwords for things like online banking". For every question I asked, he had an answer. These people are getting smarter. This is one of the times that the national DNC list doesn't help. It's only law abiding companies that follow that, not these lowlifes. Time to pay for an unlisted number.

Received this call. 212-345-6789 Marsh, McLennan. Did not speak on answering machine. Heard two beeps. It could be a long distance phone scam to place charges on your bill.

I get a call from this number everyday on my house phone

Caller ID says  "marsh, mclennan".  Two calls tonight.  Thanks to all who post.  Looks like the hacker has been using this # a long time.  Time to let the fax machine answer and scream in their ear.

Got a call from 1-212-345-6789 yesterday.  Let it go to voice mail, but did not leave any message.  The caller ID said the call was from "MARSH,MCLENNAN".  Anyone else have this name come up?  Very strange.  The rule of our house is if it's "Unavailable", or "Unknown", or we don't know the person or company on the caller ID, we let it go to voice mail.  If it's something legit, they will leave a message.  Works pretty good.  Some of them are hard core, and call every day.  Eventually though, they give up.  No voice mail message...........no answer.

Another idiot who calls, but I do not answer because I do not know anyone with this telephone number.  I wish the Idiot would stop calling.

I also live in Ontario and just received a call from the same number. When I answered no one was on the other end. When I called the number back there was a recording saying this number is not a working number and that there have been complaints by Canadian residents saying that people calling from this number were trying to seek personal information.

It is time we drop 1000 atomic bombs on Pakistan.  They are responsible for Al Queda and all these stupid phone frauds.  Let them burn in nuclear fire and go to hell

I have gotten three calls from this number..212-345-6789.
The person on the other end knows my name, and tells me he is calling me because my computer needs a check up, and he is from the internet. Really a$$hat?  You say my computer is generating proof that it is infected with a serious virus and will die very soon? And when you say these things your thick accent (Indian) is so hard to decipher, but lucky for me, I used to date an East Indian, so I understand. I called him on this twice, and he hung up on me. This reeks of SCAM. The first time I told him I did not even have a computer. Guess he didn't believe me.

This # has been calling my house daily.  A few times I have answered but no one is there.  Today I answered it and then it starts ringing on the other end and someone picked up asking "Is this Ms (said my name)" and I said yes, then he goes saying he is from some department and I still can't tell you what department bc I could NOT understand the man at all.  Said he was calling concerning my computer. I told him to never call this # back again.  I also called this # back and got the message that this is a non working # but it is being used by someone to call Canadian residents (and here I am in America) and that they have reported the # but you can also call Phone Busters (and they give the # for the Canadian Fraud Hotline).

They just phoned my girlfriend Justine's house. We hung up, they called right back, and asked why we hung up on them. We said because we don't know who this is. She said something to do with windows computer software, and our name being on the list. We hung up again. I thought it might be my sister's Vanessa, and Rudy playing a prank on us, but it sounds more like cockroach, and his girl.

This number has called me THREE TIMES in the past 3 hours. Figured it was a solicitation, so I didn't answer. Looks like I was right.

someone from this number called my mobile number twice.  The first time i did not answer and it rolled over to voice mail and an unintelligable three word message was left.  The second time I answered and the caller immediately hung up.

This number called me and said they wanted me to go to Starbucks. I said no, then she said 'But I am nice!". I hung up. She dialed me back again and again.

HOW CAN A CALL GO THROUGH WHEN IT ONLY HAS QNE NUMBER FOR AREA CODE? LIKE   2-345-6789

I was called by this number (and by 21234567890, so it's obviously fake) while I was in Ontario.  I'm American and my phone number has a Michigan area code so unless it's just a coincidence that most of us posting are from or in Canada (which it most likely is), I wonder if someone might be sniffing cell data from people in Canada or from the Canadian telecom companies.
