I just got a call from this number (11:41am UK). First of all I could hardly understand what the person was trying to say and yes, the accent did sound a bit like far eastern (Filipino?). If I understand correctly he was calling from New York  (6:45am in NY) trying to send me some information about some private investment by my e-mail. I said I wasn't interested and where did he get my mobile number from when the line abruptly went dead. I am sure these people are some kind of scammers. BTW, I am registered with TPS.

I had a female call from 212 363 7000 today, she had my name, number and an old work email address.  She told me it wasn't a sales call but that I should listen an decide whether to proceed. I told her I dont consider unsolicited calls from unknown parties and hung up.

Also got a Call from GMG international for investements. I thold the person that I wasn't interested twice. The answer was "Screw you".

I checked phone numbers: 12123637000 and 16462132846 +1 is prefix for USA.
I got a fraud-mail today and when checking the IP-adress i got the same location on google map.
In the mail they said they represented the Norwegian bank DNB.
I have enough information now to report it to the police.

Got a call yesterday from this number twice - first time I did not pick up because I was busy with work.
Second time I piced up and a guy name "Jonathan" asked for my email adress - I ask twice what it was concerning about and that I was busy - the he said "So you are so busy that you can´t speak with me ?" and I said yes - please tell me what your purpose is and I will let you know if we should proceed or not - then he hung up....... I hate these lamers......

I received a call from this company, which he said was GMG International based in new york. He asked me if I am ..., and I said this was correct. He told me this was not a sales call, but that they are expanding their business and wanted my e-mail address in order to get in touch personally and business opportunities. (The phone number is equal to the numbers you posted.) Then I asked him how he got my phone number, and he said that he received phone numbers from "different sources".

I told him I am the lead software designer of our company, not the CEO and that he should contact us through our website instead of my personal phone. He said, "oh, you're totally worthless then". And I said, "what?" and then he said "I understand" and hung up... What just happened? Who are those people? And where did they get my last name and my phone number?

Just got called by Paul Smith of GMG (USA).  When I refused to put him through to my boss his reaction was "you are such a bi***".

Charming eh - would love to do business with this guy!!!

I am resident in Oslo, Norway. Got a call from this number. They wanted contacts in Norway for business expansion, and they asked for my mail adress which they did not get.

We have had several calls from this number claiming to be a company called GMG International, GM Global, etc. asking to speak with our MD.  I asked what the call was regarding the first time and was told "a business opportunity".  These are usually just sales / investment calls so I politely advised the caller (Paul Smith) that unfortunately we wouldn't be interested in the call.  He persisted and when refused again I was informed that I was just "a f***ing Secretary".  I explained that I was going to terminate the call as that was extremely rude.  My colleague answered the second call this time from a female who was told our MD wasn't available and she said she would call back.  The third call came again from Paul Smith but I said our MD wasn't available so he said he would call back.  The fourth call came just a moment ago and I answered and advised Paul Smith that I remembered our previous call when he was extremely rude and that as previously mentioned I would not be putting him through.  He told me I was "stupid" so I hung up again.  

Needless to say, no genuine business caller would be so rude, very fishy calls indeed.  I agree that this is most probably a scam.

My colleague has reported the number to our telephone provider and the calls from that number will now be barred as the caller quite obviously isn't going to give up!

They Call mé today  for 2 time i dont answer

I got a message today at 10:41 a.m. local time (I live in the Netherlands), which is very early for a call from the US (corresponding times in the USA: 4:41 a.m. in New York and 1:41 a.m. in Los Angeles).
If I understood correctly the call was to announce a phone call in te coming days about a recommendation for a private investment (?).

Same as above. Got a call just now, sounded like a robot calling asking for mr "something that wasn't my name" and I said "Mr who?". And I said no that is not he and hung up.

Same experience as described by the others. I also like to let them talk to the wall, set the phone down and take a little coffee break...  

Do they seriously hope to get a sale from my company (or anyone) using these tactics?
...Be very wary of any calls from numbers ending in  -7000.

Weird people, sounded like a callcenter and I don't know wat they wanted. She had an strange accent and she said she was calling from New York but sounded like a terrorist. Could someone check this out?

I live in Ireland and they keep calling my mobile number, the first time a lady started collating background information, all about sales of something or other. They call at least once a week. I sometimes answer and let the person talk to the wall.

Boiler room scammers phoning mobile numbers purportedly from New York. But the accent seems Filipino on both calls I have had.
