Received 2 calls from this number on my cell phone. Did not answer it, no message was left.
Someone wrote that the caller identified herself as from " Credit Card Services.". We get a lot of calls from that outfit on our landline. Cannot get rid of them. WE don't even have any o/s cr. card bills.

got call on my cell from this #, caller-recorded message nothing wrong with my cc, but could lower rate", pressed 1, got man offering to lower rate to 6.9%, wanted me to give him my credit card info of which I wanted to lower rate.  When I stated, "no I am not giving it to him, if u say I am eligible, then u should have the info" to which he said "this is for your benefit". I replied, "Sorry I am still not giving u any info." to which he made a nasty comment & hung up.  Definitely a scam.

I tried to report this number to the Do Not Call Registry, but their site says they are closed due to the government shutdown.

Got call on my cell phone from this number, that woke me up from good sleep. Didn't answer it.
Came here to check it out. Where's the big red Google pointer over these chump's address that called me. Let's get'em.

I received a call from this number 1 minute ago (1pm PST). Listed as coming from NY, USA.
No answer.

Me too just now and my cell which is an unlisted number mind you says that the call is from New York and that is all but they guy wanted me to choose which of my Visa credit cards that I wanted to lower my rate on but it had to be one where I was over $3500!  So I told him, well you seem to have all the information so which Visa would you suggest?  He hung up....

I hate to tell you this, but this same company has been calling my home phone for at least six or seven years, they don't call from the same number every time, today I received a call from 212-387-9887 on my cell phone, they hung up on me. I asked the same questions you did a long time ago, the guy hung up on me, they want you to give your credit card number so they can scam you. I have been on the do not call list ever since it was created, they don't do one thing about it so I just do not report it anymore what is the use, just another government agency collecting monies for nothing.

PIcked it up. It said it can lower my interest rate on my credit card and that it was a one time offer. It didn't say specifically what credit card. I pressed 1 to speak to someone and it hung up.

Same as the other posts.  Heather with card services.  Pressed 1 to have my number removed and they immediately hang up.

But the same as other messages, is an automated attendant asking me to increase my credit limit.
If you listen closely it tells you to press 2 to opt out.....

Received a call from 212-387-9887.  Did not answer, they did not leave a message.  Reading the other messages, I'm glad I didn't answer the call.

I just got the call and pressed 2 to speak to a representative. They said I qualified for a lower interest rate because of my consistent on-time payments. they asked if I had at least $3000 outstanding debt on my combined credit cards. I said yes. Then, in order to qualify for lower interest rate, they wanted my credit card number. Like others, they couldn't tell me what bank my card was with. They just named off the major ones. I told them I didn't feel comfortable giving out my credit card number. She said, it was ok because they weren't asking for the CSV security number on the back and that without that, no one would be able to charge anything on my card. I told them that wasn't true, that some merchants don't require that code. I told them it sounded too much like a scam and hung up.

Received a call from this number minutes ago. Since my phone didn't recognize the caller, I let it go without answering. No message was left by caller. Luckily, I use my Google Voice number as my main number, so blocking it is a simple matter. Thanks to everyone for confirming this is a scam caller!

Saw missed call on my cell from this number.  I don't have voicemail set up, so no message was left.

Just got the same call as everyone else.......all they would say is to qualify for the lower interest rate I had to have a Visa or Master card but they wouldn't/couldn't tell specifically which company it was for....  Bank of America, Citbank etc...  I hung up immedately.

No message was left.

Got a call from this New York number. No message left. Not a local call for the number it called, either.

I'm on the do not call registry and saw an unknown number come up on my cell. It was a recording telling me that this was the last chance I had to save on a low interest rate. Obviously a scam. There was an option to select "1" to speak to a representative. Why not?

I asked how they got my number. Through my credit card. Which one? Mastercard, Visa, AMEX... etc. he prattled on trying to snow me. Asked to speak to supervisor. He said "Please, sir, just let me talk..." I said unequivocally, "This is a scam," and he immediately hung up.

Just recieved a call from this number on my cell. I dod not answer and no message was left.
