i signed up for paid surveys 2 years ago and i just got my first call from them today. i missed the call so i came on this website to see who it was and then i called them back so i could ask to be taken off of their list. the first time i called, i got a man with a very thick indian accent that asked to speak to my mom. i said that she wasn't available and immediately after that he said "oh okay thank you bye," very fast and hung up on me. i was angry with the way he treated me so i called back and got a different representative. this time, i asked to be taken off of the list and the man said something that i could not understand and hung up. furious, i called back once more and the rep was the man with the thick indian accent. i firmly said that i had called multiple times to be taken off of their list and that each rep kept hanging up on me. the man seemed intimidated and said he would take me off of their list. i said, "are you really taking me off of your list or are you just saying that so i will stop calling? because i will continue to call until i'm taken off of your list." and he said "of course i will take you off" and then i hung up on HIM. awful company... awful reps... i learned my lesson and i'm not signing up for anything like this ever again! if they ever call back, i'll do the same thing that i did today until i am taken off of their list FOR GOOD.

Got several calls from this number and when I called back to see who it was, I kept getting a "Hold while we transfer your call" message. After listening to that for about the 50th time without getting transferred, I hung up. They call me several times a day and don't leave any message. Annoying!

I just got a call from this number.  I recently signed up to do surveys, so that's probably where they got my number.  I didn't answer.  Thanks for all the comments here-- I now know NOT to answer when they call!

I got this number calling my cell number which is unlisted and I have no landline. I never give out this number so I don't know how they got it and they refuse my orders to stop calling and harrassing.

I also signed up for surveys a few months ago, but I never give my phone number. If I absolutely have to give one it's always a made up one, so I don't know how they figured it out.

When I called back all the fellow would ask is who I am and would not give me his name.  It seemed like a call center.

Got a call from this number also. I didn't pick up. Whoever it was didn't leave a message.

When I called the number back, I went in queue for a call center. The rep stated that they called me looking for someone called Monica, something to do with "$100 Surveys". The name of the company was a website/domain name, and this is apparently a paid-for research company.

Rep was polite and said she'd take me off their list. Didn't try to get me to use their services or anything. Remains to be seen if they'll stop calling.

Just got another call...did not answer.  This makes the 10th time this week.

I received a call today from 212-401-0884.  I did not answer it.  It was on a pay as you go cell phone that I never use.

These calls are really getting on my nerves. No message and when I answer no one says anything.

They called me about 3:30 p.m. on 3-16-2011 saying I won $100 and they were emailing me a link via an email message. Then they asked me 4 questions: 1) Do I know of anyone who's pregnant in my family or are any of my friends pregnant 2) am I happy with the way President Obama is doing his job, and I forget the other 2 questions. The pregnant question thingy is / was disturbing....

This number (212 401 0884) called me twice today while i was in school and the second time they called me, my phone was not on silent and i almost got in trouble. When I got home, I told my boyfriend about the number and he called it and like everyone says, they were so unprofessional, answering with an informal "Hello?". My boyfriend told them to delete his number and my number from their list and while he was explaining to them how they are annoying, they hung up on his face. He called again and cussed them out.. lawlz..

I get the same calls.  I saw on a TV show about scams etc. that if they call & hang up when you answer they are trying to establish when someone is at home.  Not sure the reason but they might get a surprise if they came to my house thinking no one was home just because the phone wasn't answered.B

I got a call from this number today.  I answered and the caller hung up.

I receive THREE calls from this no. on my landline phone today within a couple of HOURS apart!  One at 1:34 p.m., one @ 3:11 p.m., and one @ 4:47 p.m.  All calls at my number just TODAY within those timeframes!

I was not at home when any of these THREE calls came through and even if I HAD been at home, I would NOT have answered the phone (my right, correct?)

I know NOONE at 212-401-0884 nor do I WANT to know anyone who has that number.

Caller ID says:  RON TALKWARE, that's all I know.  Who the HELL is RON TALKWARE and who is he with and what the hell does he WANT?  Well, I ain't about to find out!  Just the name "TALKWARE" alone sounds like an indication that this person is some sort of SCAM artist.

Pay for research
