Brett Wilson from Arjent. Apparently it is a financial firm or investing firm. This guy asked for the CFO, but he doesn't like to be bothered with cold calls and people he doesn't know. I told him I could transfer him to voicemail, but he refuses. He says he will call back some other time. I would have told him that he would get the same response next time, but he had already hung up. I think he's just cold calling. There are better ways to introduce your company. Cold calling is a very archaic tactic at this point in the world of technology.

I've handled several calls from this firm. They call and, as others have stated, their approach is act like they know whomever they're calling for (although they don't), insist they have business with your company's executive leaders who they ask for by name (which they don't) and get rude (oh, yes, they do!). They won't leave a message. They don't volunteer what company they work for. Hoax.

Just got a call from them. I can smell a telemarketer from a mile away when they call and ask for the manager, but mangle his last name. Not getting through, sorry. :)

They just called a few minutes ago acting as though they know the owner. They'll never get through but they keep calling. That should be harassment... Arjent should be put out of its misery.

As Larkin says, "They ask for the President by his first name." very unprofessional and disrespectful. They don't say who they are, or the purpose of their call.  Isn't that the first step in phone etiquette?  If he is busy, they say they'll shoot him a quick e-mail. Then go right on ahead. Why waste their time and mine by calling?  They are all the same. They ask for first names because they are acting like they KNOW him or probably can't pronounce the last name. They won't leave a message because they are "running into a meeting" and don't want to miss the President's call when he drops everything to call them right back. Our owner gets numerous calls a day. Get a new line, people!

These guys are a little chop shop, with some clients in the UK. They are a bunch of scammer's and management is not really looking out for their clients. I have done business with them and lost most of my money. They are just not trustworthy enough to invest my hard earned money. They are not making any money and will get closed soon. These kids they have cold calling have no idea for what they are in for.

I wish this company would stop calling. They ask for the President by his first name though they do not know him, but act like they are his long, lost buddy.  The President will not take their calls because he is not interested in talking to them, particularly since they refuse to give their name or the purpose of their call.  They are a "Pain in the Butt" and wasting my time.

The callers from this company are the rudest, most unprofessional individuals.  They have been calling every week for at least the last month, acting as if they know the President by asking for him by his first name, and some of them can't even pronounce his name correctly.  They never want to leave a message, probably because they know their call won't be returned.  We have a new phone system, and I am trying to figure out how to block their calls, because I am sick and tired of dealing with this company.

Got a call from a Arheen Brown with Argent form 212-446-0006. I answered he wanted to speak to the COO. I said sure may I tell him who's calling he said Aheen Brown. Long pause. I asked "and your are with what company?" He replied Argent. I put him on hold until he hung up.
