I know these calls are annoying. Don't answer if you don't want to deal with it. If you do answer the call, and wish to participate in the survey, don't give any personal information a scammer can use to defraud you or ANY information that makes you feel uncomfortable.

This number has called numerous times. I answered today, woman said was survey, asked location, and how many in household. Strange.

These people said the were from NAMBLA (I Googled them, did not know such a disgusting thing existed) and asked if I had any young boys that would be interested in attending a camp this summer, and it would be at no cost to me. This call needs to die.

Got a call on Sunday 12/29/13 claiming that a University in New York, New York is conducting a survey. After I said I am not interested in answering questions, the representative was pushy still trying to get me to conduct the survey, I told her forcefully that I was not interested and hung up on the representative. Thank goodness I have T-Lock Call Blocker and blocked this company from calling me again. I paid about $80.00 on amazon for this device and absolutely love it. Whomever developed this device was obviously frustrated like me with surveyor's and telemarketers. I can block ANY number, even robo calls that don't display a number. Got to get one.

They are a subsidiary of abt associates, where ever you got this info is wrong, just tell them you are a business and your number will be taken out of the system

I use to work for this company. They do research mostly for the government but also some customer service. The do not call list doesn't apply to them because they don't sell anything or ask for money. To get them to leave you alone either say that they reached a business line or that you are not a resident of the house hold and the only resident is hard of hearing or other wise unable to answer questions. If you still get calls tell them the same thing until they get it. Most of the workers either don't care or are incompetent, but that'll get you out of the system. They use a thing called a random dialer that allows for certain loopholes and you may get called back for a different study by accident. In general I understand that they can get very annoying but getting angry and telling them not to call back leads to a wholeprocess that will have you called back a lot. Its just easier to say you're a business.

These clowns do call on weekends (and others times) - often at 9 p.m. on a SUNDAY.  Outrageous.  They don't show a co. name and often there is no one there when we pick up.  

If this is indeed Abt SRBI, they need to be reined in.  They are on Facebook and you can message them about this, or find them on the internet and phone and complain.  I'm taking the word of people here that this is SRBI as the number 212 448 5501 is not on their website.

They keep calling me on my house phone. As soon as  I pick up they hang up. My number is in the 760 area code, San Diego area.

This is not the first time I received this call, but it is the first time I picked up. Complete silence. I'm also on the National DO NOT CALL and have run out of the limit on my phone to block calls and the limit imposed by Comcast. I'm completely sick of  this.

Got a call said they were doing social security survey - asked personal questions - refused to answer  said to call back another day.

I have the same issue.  I am registered with Do Not Call.  I tried calling them back to inform them that they are in VIOLATION.  I have tried numerous times, the line is continuously busy.

Caller ID says UNAVAILABLE. No voicemail left.

You can respond to these calls by either sending letters or simply calling the following people. With a little digging, we can probably get their home phone numbers and simply call them...repeatedly.

Who ever these people are need to grow up and get a life before the law takes theirs away. What you are doing calling at all hours of the night and now you have way to much info on my family, YOU have passed the CREEPY stage . So do not call any of my numbers again.

These people continue to call on my cell phone which is also on the Do Not Call registry. They never say anything or leave any messages.

The number 212-448-5501 showed up on Friday. I didnt answer. Got a call two days later of six unauthorized charges on my checking account in north carolina for aover $700. Probably not related but i am paranoid after the fraud company noticed the charges and called me.......

They just called saying they were Georgia Health Dept. doing a survey on GA residents-right!?!  A NYC number and I live in NY Someone should let the dept of health know they are being "represented"! Sounds like a scam to me!

I have been getting calls from this number and they don't leave a message so I decided to answer and she said she was from the department of agriculture lol. Don't believe this for a minute and I won't answer again.

Called on cell phone despite being on DNC list. Started asking personal questions about my religion and where I lived. Did not clearly identify himself. Kept asking me to 'hold on sir' -- strange call

Got a call from this number while working but when I called back recording said not a valid number. Why can these solicitors and bill collectors do this.

i have now been getting calls now for aabout a month and they leave no message but the last time they called which was 5 mins ago they left a message but it was in portuguse.

Keep getting calls at night, usually after 6 PM from 212-448-5501. The calls come through on my cell phone and I never catch it in time.  When I call back the number, I am told it is a non working number.  If it is a non working number, why do I keep getting this calls.  I need them to stop calling.  I am on a do not call for house and cell phones, but that does not matter.  I know I saw a report that companies are supposed to go through the do not call lists every 30 to 31 days and if the same companies, etc. calling it can be reported to the FCC.

Have received a few calls from this number in the past few days.  The most recent was last night.  This time when I answered, the caller started about asking for a survey in regards to our state of health.  Told them to take this phone number off of their list and hung up.

This number calls about once a day. They never leave a message. I finally answered and they said they were from the Massachusetts Board of Health. Yeah right. Why would they have a 212 phone number?

It's illegal to call people in the state of Massachusetts on Sunday for any reason, and to be calling at 9 on is ridiculous!! Some kind of illegal scam!!
