Calls come in two to three times a night, 4 times last night. When answered you hear a hang up. This is during the middle of the night.

Frequent calls at random times.  When I answer, it sounds like a fax machine.  Very scary when the call comes in at 3 a.m.  I am on the do-not-call list, but these calls keep coming.

Calls began this week at 1:00 am and 3:00 am and continued every twenty or thirty minutes. On the other end is only a short series of beeps and then it hangs up. The call back number was always "unknown" until today. Then 212-478-3980 shows up on my caller ID.

HOW CAN I STOP THIS???????

Me plus. I got 55 unkno call during seconds. when rude? how can stop?

I got 60 unknow-ID call during minutes. what annoying? is there any way to stop it?

I am getting calls starting at 10:30 pm through 1:30 am from this number.  Now they come all day and night.  I guessed that it was an insurance company trying to renegotiate my fees so I called every health insurance company that I have billed.  MULTIPLAN is being used by a few health insurance companies to renegotiate your fees if you are a health care provider.
 
They say if you agree to less than half of what you bill, then they will speed up processing your check!  This should be against the law.  I already know that I'm not going to get paid for the acupuncture that I performed on the patients even though I spent thousands of dollars on my education.  These patients will get acupuncture services paid for if they go see a Dr. who has no educational requirements to perform acupuncture in the State of Colorado, or they will go see a Chiropractor who can have as little as 500 hours of education in acupuncture here in Colorado - not a trained and licensed acupuncturist with over 3,000 hours of training.  It's blackmailing you into submission for lesser fees so that you will finally get any money paid for your services that you did several months ago.  

The calls keep coming even though I have called Cigna and Multiplan numerous times.  Lately, in order to sleep, I have to disconnect the phone.  Not sure how long the calls will keep coming but from now on, I am not going to participate in the health insurance game and just have my patients pay up front.  Thank you Multiplan for disrupting my peaceful home life and invading my privacy.  I hope everyone calls your number all day and night.  1-212-478-3980 , 3981, 3982, 3983 etc...  You should be fined for what you are doing.

212-478-3980 is MULTIPLAN insurance @##holes. I wish someone would stop them. FTC is useless. DNC is useless.

I work as a receptionist at a company, and our main phone line at the office rings all day long with 212-478-3980. It beeps like a fax number. I have faxed it back saying not to dial that number anymore, but that only stops the calls for a few days.

Since my last posting yesterday I have received an additional 40 calls from this number. this AM 9-16-08 from @0600 to 0745 I received 28 calls with additional 5 calls since then. All I can find is that this is a landline in Manhatten New York.

keeps calling my phone that is on the Do NOT CALL LIST. either shows up as unknown and sounds like a fax, or lists the number 212-478-3980 and showed Multiplan in my caller ID. This happens anytime day or night and usually goes on for about 10 calls. Extremely annoying and My call rejection feature won't block it.

Called my cell phone (which IS on the no-call list) three times around 4:00 a.m. The first time said "unavailable." The second call, 10 minutes later, said 212-278-3980. That time I picked up and there was just a beeping from a fax machine. Third time, 10 minutes after that, was unavailable again. All in the middle of the night.
