it is a tracker thinggy I just discover it that my ex downloaded a sms ,call tracker in my iphone and it comes from that phone. you try to dial it and it sounds like a fax , he has a password to enter to my phone and read all my message ! HA ! Sooo busted ! I knew it !! There is nothing like a girl being mad ! It is worst that the FBI ! I mean it , even in the police  they think they are the only ones that can track phones ! bah !! I advice you all to restore your phones to erase this trackers of your phone before you get all your sms and calls tracked !

Got a call today from a "+501", which is Belize as mentioned before, but strangely no number after it. He was calling "from ING" about electricity. Indian accent, bad VOIP connection and when I told him I don't pay for electricity he didn't even say "bye", just hung up.

I just got a call from this number.  I was on another line so I sent it to voice mail.  They called back 3 more times in a row!!!  Then, they didn't leave a message.  I just add them to my contact list as "DO NOT ANSWER" and will always send them to VM.

said they would plant trees in my backyard for free - trees and all - yeah sure.

Asked for me by name, said he was from (unintellible) and google.

Sounds like an SEO solicitation.  I hung up.

hi, luckily i found this site, nearly fell for a scam for adwords in google. Someone with a strong accent posing as a salesman for google working in a company by the name of OMP called me 4 times in the month. when i said you've called me before he had a sudden case of amnesia!

Just had a call from this number 1-212-494-2118  but i was asleep i didnt answer ,i wanted to know who this number was for so i google and endd up here.when i got her i got some awesome feedback,so if they call again i know how to wipe the floor with them.

On further investigation this number is listed as a Fax number at MACY's in NY

I recieved a phone call from this number 3:45pm Melbourne Australia time. I did not answer in time and there was no voice message left

Got a message from +1 (212) 494-2118 the guy sounded like a charismatic American salesman he said he was from some alphabet company and when I said "Who?" he hung up on me. Not sure what it's about, but I'm disturbed so many people have complained about this number. It's a worry...

I think this is from an outsourced company operating on behalf of Google. These calls started at the same time I started receiving direct mail advertising from them.

I just go two calls from thi snumber - I'm in sydney Australia. No message left - not calling them back either!

Australia - Got 2 'unknown' #'s call me, then this #, then a mobile # of 0438859017 ALL at 12.54pm today.

ALL missed calls. If there's no message left, I assume it's not important and I don't call back - especially as I run a business.

I always search #'s before I call back if I don't know them. Mobile #'s don't always show up, but have been reading that lots of people have been getting calls from this +1212 number, as well as mobile & unknown so am assuming it's all the same.

I'm in Australia too and just been called by this number which comes up on my phone as Ny, USA. I didn't answer it because I've already been scammed before by fake magazines claiming I've placed an ad with them some months earlier and that they're sending out the invoice. They still call me so I just don't answer any blocked or foreign numbers. I even had a +501 nothing else number call yesterday which is the country code for Belize (South America) what in the heck would a small time photography business owner in Australia have anything to do with either of these countries. Sigh.

I am in Melbourne Aust and have received calls from this number and am fed up with it.

I just got a phone call from sherwood Owen. He rang said he was directed to my business page and if I advertise using google. I said, "Ah yeah" really vague. He said, thank you have a nice day and hung up.

I had been missing these calls alot. So I called back the mobile phone number and it went to message bank. Then 10 second later I got a call from this number with Sherwood Owen again asking me the same thing. I said, " mate I just spoke to you" he hung up on me. Then I googled and found this.

I am worried it is some sort of scam I am not aware of. The mobile number he used was 0420250485.

Got the same caller i think.. could hardly understand a word he said, and lied repeatedly when i cross checked his details and blocked him from speaking to the company director... told me to get the director to call back on 1800 806223.

If it is from a goggle crapy person that annoys you on a regular basis then all you need to say is, How did you get my number? Ask their name and company, then ask are you aware that my number is on the do not call list, and then say thank you for your name and company name you are about to be fined for phoning me . The cost for this is is Au $250,000 and have a good day. I tell you they will never bother you again.

Just got one as well - I'm from Australia. They told me that they had been to my website and asked whether I had thought of advertising on Google. This is the 2nd call in the past 2 months about this topic. I suspect that it is a call centre (on both occasions seemed to be a Philippino accent). Essentially what they want to do is to sign you up to Google Adwords. The first call was on behalf of an Australian company, the second hung up when I got a bit antsy with them. One thing I will say is that they do not actually read your website bvecasue if they did they would have realised that I do this as part of my own business.

I received a call from this number and when I didn't answer, my cell phone suddenly started ringing busy and I had to unplug it  to stop it from ringing busy.  This is not the only number that I received a call from that does that.

I received a call , too from a foreign female who chooses to speak with a sock hanging out of her mouth. I thought she said she was from JEC Corp? but later said she was from google (it could have easily been noodle)to put me at the top of search engines (or was it birth onions)??? I hung up immediately

I got a call from this number today too.  Said Macy's Herald S on the caller ID.  He sounded Asian and just asked for my husband.  When I said he wasn't here, he just said ok and hung up.

This number has called up to 3 times PER DAY- even on Sunday. There is never a message and I have tried calling the number back but get a fax machine sound
