Telling these operations to be put on a do not call list never works. I refuse to answer calls when I do not recognize the number. The calls violate the law and I will not entertain them just so somebody can keep their job.

you people are a***s!! if you just answer AND request to be removed they have to do it. or just call the supervisor number and asked to be removed is it THAT hard? You picked up the phone .. s*** thats what CALLER ID is FOR so you dont have to answer and be bothered or turn the ringer off we have these things people!! Its a s****y job that kids in school or going through college do to support themselves, you think they REALLY wanna call you personally just to piss you off. HELL NO they dont wanna hear your bitching.. have some decency damn take a survey feel like your opinion matters.   be lucky your number ended up on a list with people asking what you think, like it really matters.

1st call- they never came on line.  2nd call 2 hrs later. woman hurried to hang up when I said take my number off their list. Called the number found listed on this site. Woman there was took number but was short.

How funny but see there in lies the scam.  As soon as you call to have your number removed, they got what they wanted and passed you on to another list verifying there is a warm body at the end of that phone that will pick up.  Too funny!  Pay for ATT to do a number block.

come on people. support these surveys, the people calling needs these jobs and needs to pay bills, it is not such a big deal.

They are a company on Irving Place that conducts surveys, often political in nature.  I have worked for them in the past.  It's a fairly easy way to make extra money.  They are more or less what they say they are, but I doubt they are high tech enough to take anyone "off the list."

Recently installed a land line after years of only having a cell. Now I remember why.  Nothing but telemarketers and wrong numbers. The guy identified his company as Central Research and that he wasn't selling anything, just wanted to ask some questions and asked me if I would agree to a survey. I told him I was uncomfortable with someone asking me questions when I didn't know who they were. He said "OK, Thank you for your time" and hung up before me.

Received THREE calls from Central Research last night.  One of the calls was at 930pm!  I called them today to ask them to remove me from their (harassment) list.  Thank you for providing me with a number to call.

Don't believe their claims of taking you off the list.   I've been called at different dates by them after complaining.    They do not have a block list, one that is a list of numbers not to call and that is a violation of the law.

This needs to be handled by the New York State Attorney General and by the Attorney General of your own state.

I have gotten calls from these people.  I don't think that real "Market Research Firms" use robo dialers, calling the same number every 30 - 40 minutes which they did.   There was no caller ID either, nothing that identified the firm.

Finally, someone was at the phone.  They gave me an address of 30 Irving Place in New York City.  

Essentially I believe they are a telemarketer that disguises themselves as market research to get around the law.   Either that or  there conduct of scamming caller ID, robo dialing means that they do not deserve the protections afforded by legitimate market research firms.

Call your state AG and the NY AG and point out that for the reasons I have stated they are not a real market research firm and should be prosecuted under the do-not-call law.   If they are successful this will put an end to this nonsense.

I CALLED  THEIR SUPERVISOR AT 212-260-0070 AND IT DID STOPPED. THANK YOU FOR THE PERSON WHO GOT THE NUMBER.

It is unbelievable that these people call on Sundays (4 times) I just read about the supervisor, and called. She was nice and asked for my number and said ok. Now I am waiting

Several calls at really odd hours of the night. When I answered, it was silent.

Calls come all the time from this number. You say "Hello" and nobody answers. This is very annoying and it happens all the time. Very frequent. Every other day and several times a day. This has got to stop.

I received 4 calls on Sunday and 4 calls on Monday. I ignored most of them, but I answered a couple and there was no one on the other end, indicating an automatic dialer.  It is my understanding that survey calls can be made until 10pm.  I googled the number and found a contact in New York.  I was advised that my number would be removed from their data base.  I called them back about a half dozen times for verification.  I once even tried to do a survey with them.  I intend to report to them each time that I get such a call in the future from anyone...just incase they decide to gather statistics on such calls.
