I get phone calls from this number several times a day.

Call at least 10 times a day.  No one on the line.  No messages ever left on answering machine.

I get calls every day from them. They hang up if you pick up, or if it goes to Answering Machine.
They are criminals and we have no recourse!

I can confirm the above statement. After 60+ calls over the past week, I finally picked up and yelled "who are you and what do you want?" and there was a woman at the other end asking if she could send a packet to my address. She needs money for poor sick children in Israel. (Now not getting any calls on Saturday makes sense.) I told her this was the most annoying telemarketing I had ever encountered and she apologized.

Now, I just hope they don't sell my number so someone else.

A foreign woman asked my kid for money, then hung up when I took the phone, then 3 days later, I received a letter from CHESED L'YISROEL 1040 EAST FIFTEENTH ST BROOKLYN 1-866-978-5947, stating that they spoke w/ me (on the same date that someone asked my kid for money). The letter asks for a donation. I believe that this the the company/scam that has been calling daily, as we have not gotten a call from this number since the foreign woman was on the phone. We were previously getting calls daily

Been getting the same thing, call and no answer for days.  Finally got a live person on other line.  Wanted permission to send me material for something or other.  Foreign accent. Sounds similar to the Philippine Phone Scam that was rampant a few years ago.  Someone is getting rich from this.

I called this number back and a man and a woman (English speaking) said that they never called and that the number was an ONSTAR Car Phone. I told them that that number had called our home daily and to google search the number.
They figured that someone had hacked their number and was using up all their minutes.

This number keeps calling.....always no one there except tonight, there was a woman w/ an accent who told my kid to have us send $18 for oil.

Same idiots keep calling & I just let the call go to voicemail. No message left. This going beyond the point of just being annoying.

Same thing as everyone else, will call the phone company to see if they will block the number from calling

This is out of control. Something has to be done about these people at 212-534-4436.
