I used to work for Babytobe,com.  They get your phone number from either you signing up or someone signing you up on their web site.  They don't buy numbers.  They can only speak to the person listed on the sign up sheet so if they are told you aren't home they will call back.  If you ask to be taken off their call list they are required to do it, although it might take more than once depending on how new the person is you are talking to.

I recieved this several times as a missed call on my cell. Who's number is this?

Someone named "Jasmine" from Babytobe.com -- which we never heard of -- phoned here and wanted to "confirm" some info.  No way!

oh really, then explain why the phone #212-537-4026 is given as the number to call on a letter of a nationwide sweepstakes scam involving fake checks to the tune of $4200.00. i'm sure many innocent people have been scammed

they get your phone number because you or a friend go to the website and register expecting or new parent.  Babytobee.com is not a telemarketer and they call only because these people sign up at the site and then forget.  It clearly states on the site that expecting parent will be call.
Not to be rude but people need to get there facts straight before they give a company a bad rap.this is a legitimate company and they are  not trying to "steal anyones credit card number".

My mother (age 67) has been getting phone calls daily from this same number; offering coupons etc. They even mailed her baby formula and keep calling repeatedly. What's also weird is that they've got MY e-mail address and keep sending me e-newsletters... My mother is certainly not having any more kids, and I've only just married and have no intention of becoming a parent in the near future.  I have NO IDEA how they got her information AND mine -- AND mixed them up. The unwanted junk e-mail is no worry for me, but my parents are being harassed with these calls.

They called me 3 days in a row. After I finally spoke to them I got a phone number that I googled. That's how I ended up here, we are also pregnant but we haven't signed up for any registry's or anything else.

My caller ID showed the number 1-718-989-2507.  They called  a lot of times and told me that it's babytoe.  I pretended that I was the babysitter they left a message to call 212-537-3802.  Good thing I searched on it because they seem so desperate of talking to me.

I have recieved two phone calls from babytobe yesterday.  One came up on the caller ID as a New York Call 718-989-2507 and the other said unknown name 212-537-3802.  I had a baby last october but dont remember signing up for anything free.  Very disturbing.  They wanted to "Confirm" info from me.  I hung up on them.  I wonder what they want.  Probably some kind of identity theft ring.  My husband is a police officer so I am hoping they call back when he is home!!!  LOL!!!!

I received a call at 8:51 PM on a Sunday night.  The lady offered free stuff from Babytobe.  I thought it was odd and asked for a return phone number so that I could look them up online and I came upon this site.  I just entered the number in the search box at Yahoo!.  Since I have read this site I am not going to give them any info.  Also, it showed up in my Caller ID as "Asterisk" (the word and the symbol).

Just recieved a call from this # and seen that it was supposely Babytobee.. looked up the website and here is a number to where we can complain about them calling all the time and at any hour. It is from there privacy policy statement page.

i dont know who they are or what they want from me . i call me every time at the end of my mth with virgin mobile agree with  kctipton.. is there a list they have and call us and just now 1-718- 989 2507 called me   no voice mail.

My caller ID showed the number 212-537-3802 and New York, NY.  I asked who it was and told the person they're calling long distance and it would cost them a lot of money.  I only heard soft breathing.  I hung up.

Got one yesterday from the 417 number, and this one today...

Uhm... I DON'T have kids, and am very worried that they somehow have my info. I refuse to answer these calls though... if it continues, they're getting an earful...

Called four times. No Answer when I pick up.

I just called the number back and asked to be taken off of their call list and the lady was very nice and said they would take me off right away. I'll let you know if I get any other calls, but maybe it's something you can try next time they call, just say "can you please take my name off of your call list". I think it's the law if you ask that they have to.

They call at least 2 times a week on my cell phone and when I answer all they do is breath in the phone and hang up. Every time I have answered it no one answers when I say, "hello". It is very annoying and disrespectful! I want it to stop!!!

I have had them call three times but they never leave a message. I have never gotten to the phone in time to answer it.

Also just received a missed call from the 212 537 3802 - and then stumbled accross this site when googling the number (a little habit I have developed after getting phone calls from unknown numbers).

What's more strange is the fact that my pregnant wife and I have only been in the US for 2 months -so my cell phone number is completely unknown.  The only shop we gave it to was Burlington's Coat Factory (Rohnert Park, CA) late yesterday afternoon, after buying some stuff for the nursery....  Shoul'dnt there be some privacy notice they make you waive??

I recieved calls from 212-537-3802 and 718-989-2508 recently on my cell phone but I never pick them up. It is so annoying that they keep calling and leaving breathing voicemail on PURPOSE. I never signed up for anything and I have no idea how my cellphone number got into their system..but I think it does have something to do with new mothers and mothers-to-be.
Besides, I never been on BabytoBe.com..nor has my husband.

This number (212-537-3802 (NY))has been calling repeatedly atleast 3 to 4 times a day, in the past 5 days. Sometimes there is someone on the other line, sometimes i get a 'wait for the next babytobe representative', and sometimes i just get breathing. its incredibly annoying. i wrote to them asking them to take me off of thier call list. i never signed up in the first place. i wish i could call the police or something.. nothing like putting a sick baby down to nap and have them wake up due to a completely unnecessary phone call.. UGH.

I also received 2 calls from 212-537-3802 and 7 calls from 718-989-2508 at my cell.  They seem to be from BabytoBe.com, but I am not too sure.  They do not say anything, and just hang up, except for the very first call whereby a lady offered some free coupons

I received 8 missed calls on my cell in 3 days from 212-537-3802 and 718-989-2508.  They are both baby to bee numbers.  My wife is pregnant, she must have given out my cell number when she signed up for something.

Someone from this number has called our house 3 nights in a row after 8 PM.  The lady on the phone didn't want to give out "who was calling" to my husband and even hung up on him the other night when he was bringing me the phone.  I said I didn't register for anything and wasn't familiar with the company.  Glad I decided to look it up and find this.  It's the exact same phone number - I just cannot believe it!  PLEASE BEWARE - I KNOW I WILL!  On caller ID it shows up as ICALL, INC - I looked that up online and it's a FREE phone service you can sign up for through your computer!
