Do what I do..... Find something extremely loud and sound off into the phone when they call again!

Like I always say... If you tell them not to call and they do.. Blow an air horn or whistle into the phone (: Usually gets them to stop.

I have also received numerous calls from this number to the point of being a nuisance call. No messages on the answering machine just hanging up. Who can we contact to take action against the culprit?

I have registered with the do not call registry but yet still receive these annoying telemarketer calls. They must stop !! what are all the politicians doing? what is the point of calling and hanging up once it is answered? whats the point of calling and not leaving a message? what purpose does this serve?

This number has called me five to six times a day for the last week. I  can't stand it.

This number is getting to be very annoying call all day long every 5 minutes,i call back and it said this number is disconnected.

Same here, constant calls, repeats every 10-15 min ALL F^%%#N day. Ask for a person that hasnt had this number in over 15 years. Then tries to sell "ENERGY: Pain in the A@@.

Just got two "phoneys" within a 5 minute time period. Best thing to do is to call your State Attorney General Office.

I've had the same problem here. I've gotten a call from that number several times today, and twice in the last fifteen minutes. I tried calling as well and got a recording that the number was not in service. I just filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. I suggest everyone else do the same. Here's the link:

They keep calling and will not stop!!!!  Just called 4X this hour.  I am on the do not call list.  I have young children who go to bed early.  I'm going to try and block the number.

The DNC cannot prevent these calls . These calls are not from legitimate companies who obey the law . These spam and spoof calls can be reported for harassment to your police department and the phone company .

After 25-30 calls in the last month from them, I finally got a live person, "Olivia," who "couldn't" tell me the real number of the company - "only an executive can do that, after you answer a few questions". She claimed the name of the company was "green energy solutions", but I found nothing usable under that google search.  Finally as she kept answering questions, I finished the phone call thusly:  "Olivia, I'm sorry that you have the job you do, but I'm not going to answer any questions.  I have a feeling that speaking to the executive is part of your script, too. [no answer] And that probably this call is recorded, so you can't give me a real answer. So I don't want you to lose your job, but I won't be answering any questions. I hope you have a good afternoon." (She chuckled slightly and said a nice goodbye.)  The phone number by the way is a non-existent number - when you call it back you get "this number is not in service".

I don't usually answer calls when I don't recognize the number, but I thought it might be my son who is in school in NYC. Anyway, the man asked for my father who died 12 years ago. This wasn't even my father's phone #. Called the number 3 minutes later, and the number wasn't in service.

After days (weeks) of harassing phone calls, sometimes multiple times a day, and despite telling them not to call again, I decided to change my tactics.  I spoke with the harassing telemarketer, answered her questions, and ultimately was passed through to the company that hired the call center.  The call center itself belongs to a company called ITC, called using VOIP (phone over internet) and they pre-screen and pass acceptable potential clients to a company based in California called VERENGO SOLAR.  I could not get the solar company's name until I passed the pre-screening and was transferred to Verengo's own telemarketers.  The ITC call center rep would only tell me the company was called "Home Solar" and that they were based in Virginia, neither of which is true. I spoke to a manager at Verengo who claimed to be unaware of ITC's annoying tactics and said he would talk to ITC and make sure they don't call me again.  I have his name and direct number... anyone want it?

I have been bothered for an entire week from this company.  I have no idea who they are.  I called them back and you get a recording "number not in service".  I have filed so many complaints with the Do not call registry.  Just keep filing the complaints & hopefully they will shut them down.  Unreal. Very disturbing.

They have called repeatedly and I have always asked to be removed from list. I am on a do not call list.

Have called nine times in six days. Caller ID shows caller as "New York."  Answered once and told "Joe" from "Home Solar Company" that I was not interested and to not call again.  Of course, they have called again and when I call the number back it says it is "not in service" so they are spoofing the number from some other number.  Sickening.

They call every night.  Selling some sort of solar power. Finally answered tonight and told them not to call back as I am not interested.  Let's see what happens tomorrow night!

this is a new number for me. they keep asking for Melissa torres.   I tell them there is no one here with that name.they call me again and yell for Melissa torres.  my husband is in a wheelchair.  I DO NOT have the time to keep ans these calls.

They claim to be "Home Solar".  Told them to take me off the list or we would call the cops.  Placed number on our blocked list so they can't call back.  Check to see if you have this option with your local phone carrier (even if it's cable based like ours is).

Got a call from this number and knew it was a fake.  Just hang up and do not answer the next time
