Dave 2011-06-06 20:42:55 Unknown
Excited!
MTN gives me a chance and lots of opportunities out there.
They already submitted me to a agent that provided me a job as
an extra.
jess 2011-06-06 20:42:55 Unknown
got a call from somebody named holly about working as an extra. havent replied because im weary of shadiness. what is mtn?
Lisa 2011-06-06 20:42:55 Unknown
MTN is a scam...dont fall for it. They are totally NOT legit. They get you in under the guises of having modeling jobs, tell you they love your look and then try to sell you these poorly produced headshots at an exorbitant price. they dont have ANY job leads...they are criminals!
Jessica Marasigan 2011-06-06 20:42:55 Unknown
This company called me to come in for an interview for extra work. Brad, the photographer, took photos on Friday December 5th 2008, and promised the headshots would be done, retouched and printed, Monday December 8th. On Monday, the 8th, he claimed that the “client” who was interested in me wanted to shoot me in a different outfit and that the files from the original shooting had already been deleted. He did not deliver the promised retouched photos, no hard copy or disk, and didn’t get me work with the client. He did not deliver on any front though I paid 107 dollars cash upfront.

I was scammed also by this do***ebag. Were you able to get it back?
Falco 2010-11-07 13:33:34 Unknown
i have recently did the photo shoot from this guy for 150. i knew of the scams, just did not know what i was looking for when it came to that but now i know because i am new to this. My best advice if he does not prove his worth, (i am giving him a change not saying i do not trust any of your many testimonies) and now i am believing he scammed me, and i advise you do the same as I am going to do.
Take 5 or more of the biggest guys i know, pay him a visit and "ask" my money back. And I go to school in Harlem and worked in Washington heights so you can imagine the guys i am bringing. "Brad" will be smart for once in his life and pay up unless he wants to see what uptown Manhattan is all about.
But in order to accomplish this, first call to makre sure hes there asking that you want to take the 300 dollar package. You walk in with your friends waiting outside, when they let u in, u invite all you huge a** friends in kindly talk to "brad" to avoid kicking down the door or damages because he has you information and that can turn into a court case.

Hi,
My 16 year old daughter found this ad on craigslist (Brad West ~ Model and Talent Development aka WMT) and took out all her savings $300.00 and went to the city to give them $200.00 of it.
Promised to send her the pics they took and to send them to an agency.
Haven't heard from them since. Keep leaving messages!
It's terrible to scam innocent young girls!!!! They sould be ashamed of themselves. There number is 516-679-6109 or 212-244-4487.

He wanted money upfront so I scammed him. Told him that I would make an appointment When I had the money. I'm glad I did. They also have a new number: 212-244-4487.

SCAM SCAM SCAM! clearly they just need people to come in, to get their money, they wouldn't have even cared if i showed up or not because they did not need my information to cancel.

went into their s****y office today located at 224w 35th. As i walked down the hall looking for the place some guy asked me if i was there for the extras job. (another one of their scams) there is no movie. they have since called me from this number 212.268.8013 Brad's number on his biz card is 516.679.6109 email bradwest100@gmail.com THEY ARE NOW calling themselves WMT Model and Talent Development
This is quite the scam but a cheap one. There are 4 rooms. The tiny office area that looks like an east village crack den from the mayor dinkens days. The s****y little orange hallway waitng room. hot as hell with a tv and dust covered fan. There is Brad's office, which is covered with posters of models with him in the background. he shows you an ny1 segment while they are interviewing a real model and he is in the background. You get the feeling that its just an elaborate scheme composed by half wits praying on dream filled models of nyc. He just stands in the back ground of these photographs and news footage so he can pawn it off like he's some big mogul. there is also the little makeshift photo studio with white paper coming down off of AutoPoles to make a pretend cyc and a few photo strobes.
Look guys all this whole operation takes posting ad's on craigslist, making fake business cards, renting a commercial space and buying some 4x8 dry wall sheets to build the s****y office areas. they hire someother goons who are in on the scheme and then "Brad" poses in the background in these fashion events like he's part of it. b***s***. I know i've been redundant with what i've mentioned but do not give them your money.
the offer that i needed to do right then and there was the same as alot of peoples. 200$ for 100 photos or 150 for 50 photos.

when you walk into the office, it is dirty, narrow, cramped and looks like a bail bonds office. there is a boombox blasting loud music and a fan blowing air cos it is so stifling in there. then a stumpy guy with crazy eyes and fast movement rushes you into his office and starts checking you out up and down. he immediately tells you he loves your look, has a job right away, and for $200 you can get a head shot next door and send it in to the casting agent. I totally hesitated, so he slashed the price to $100. I got up to leave then he came down on the price AGAIN and said $40. I insisted on leaving and he gave me a few of his home made business cards and told me to come back soon before i lose the job.
the worst part is the not even this guy, its the receptionist at the front who is rude and dirty. the entire time i was waiting he was scratching her hair with her nails and her pen. when she handed me the clipboard she practically threw it at me like a frisbee. then she handed me the pen that she scratched her hair with. GROSS!
