Called It back. It's the ASPCA looking for donations from past members.

These people call at least once a day. Usually in early morning. It is ver annoying to my wife and I.
I think i'll try to call back and see if I can't be taken off their call list.

I have repeatedly asked the ASPCA solicitation callers to DELETE my private phone number which still remains listed on the 'national no call' registry, from their contact list to no avail. They call 7 days a week, month after month. Someone needs to put a stop to this harrassment. I am NOT interested in sending them money so they can send more umbrellas, bags, blankets and other junk to me that I do not want or wish to receive. I DO NOT SUPPORT the ASPCA or USHS as they are huge 'money machines' that 'pick and choose' animal abuse cases that bring the most publicity and public sympathy to generate their profits. It has been my personal experience that the ASPCA/USHS and a great majority of their chapters across the U.S. are selective with their 'assistance' to animals after personal experience on several occassions. I rescue animals, support ONLY local rescues and shelters for the actual care of abused animals, and Senior Citizens who need help physically and financially with their companion animals. It is money better spent.

I just got a called from this # too....and I agree to send out the 15 letters they asked me to...I never pick up the phone if I don't know who it is but I though it was my girlfriend . Well I won't picking up the phone no more...I don't mind to help but I hate when they keep insisting with more calls

Same thing for me as everyone else. They call multiple times, I asked multiple times for them to quit calling. I even told them I would not donate again if they did not stop harassing me. They are still calling. I feel like I am the one paying the phone bill and if I ask them to stop calling, they should. Just because they are a charity does not mean they should have the right to harass people.

Have the same complaint as above.  Ignored them because of caller ID, but the calls have been coming for over a week - several times a day.  I finally answered today and after telling them to stop the calls I was told I wouldn't be called again for this campaign.  I guess that means I'll be back on their list next month.  I'll never make a contribution to the ASPCA again with this level of harrassment.

Same as others are reporting, it is daily calls at various times.  Today I picked up hoping to get my number removed, but the person on the other end acted as if they could not hear me.  I called the number, selected 1 and then 3 to put my number on their do not call list.  Here's hoping!AS

I get a call from this number every night at dinnertime.  I recall one time answering a call from an unknown 212 number and it was the ASPCA, so now I never answer.  It used to be "unknown callers" or 800# that I avoided, now it is mystery 212 numbers.  I love animals and I would be happy to give if I had any money to spare (which I don't) but only on MY terms and not on the phone!  Two years ago, my son's friend had a birthday party and in lieu of gifts they asked us to donate to the ASPCA, so I gave $30 online and had to submit name address, phone # etc.  Now I am forever on their call list.  I guess that was the gift that asks you to keep giving.

Have received numerous calls from 212-601-9591, 212-601-9598, and 212-601-9582. All hours of the day and evening. Calls ring 1-4 times and then there is a click if I pick up. There has never been a live person at the other end. No messages left on machine. Seems the ASPCA has turned stalker.

Calls all hours day and evening.  Never leaves a message.  Caller ID only shosw number.  Careul with one messag here that shows the number as 212 691 9598.  It's a kindly older woman!

I called that number back and confirmed it was ASPCA. When prompted, I pressed 1 for "More Info". One of the options was to be removed from their phone list. So I entered my 10 digit number and it should be processed in the next 30 days or sooner.

We'll see if they keep calling...

ASPCA 212-601-9598  calls daily, sometimes twice. They hang up when the answering machine picks up.
I am going to write to ASPCA & inform them that if the calls do not stop, I will never donate to them again.

Calls come throughout the day and evening from this number as well as other numbers identified as ASPCA.  Very annoying.  No voice mail messages are left.  By reading comments above by Kandance, bbc, Mary Anne, C in Ct, and Clara I have no intention of talking to these callers and agree that their numbers should be blocked. This is a good reason that this 'non-profit' organization should be included in the government's 'do not call list'!!

I've gotten calls from this number i swear a million times. I usually just hang up on them but one day i answered and they asked for Kevin....when i told them Kevin didnt live here they said they would call back later...i guess they think Kevin is moving in or something...they arent too bright. Just got a call again at almost 9...when i answered they hung up...its really starting to get on my nerves and i'm pretty sure i'll never donate to ASPCA after all this crap...

Call from 212-601-9598.    Picked up and said "Hello"  and caller hung up.   I don't know anyone with that

Receive at least 2 or 3 calls a day. Caller ID says ASPCA. Have gotten to point where I press talk and then end on my phone. Very obnoxious. And they call under various numbers, all 212 area code. I gave back at the time of Katrina and none since. Doesn't inspire me to give again.

They call daily from 5 different #'s.  Once, I anwered, the ASPCA, and agreed to send out 15 of their letters, thinking they'd stop calling.  Wrong!  It made no difference.  They keep on calling.  If cox.net could give instructions that work, I'd block the calls.  There are too many of them, too often.

Got a call from 212-601-9598 and she said they were ASPCA but I "already donated this year."
She said I'd donated last year  etc and  wanted me to donate again.  Hello????
Told her "I don't know who this is, I donated already this year and I do "nothing by phone" and hung up.
