Today my son and I both received automated calls from this #, stating that our debit card had been 'frozen' and asking for confirmation of the card number.  At that point we each realized it was a scam and hung up.   Beware!

A hearty F*CK YOU to the a**holes who programmed the computer to call my phone at 4:30 a.m. Honolulu time.  If I find out who you are I will track you down and return the favor by calling you at home in the middle of the night to wake you and your animals up, you miserable Sh*t for brains do***ebags.

212-643-0099 is not listed as any number I recognize, so I did not answer this cell phone call.
They shouldn't even be calling my cell phone number.

I saw the unfamiliar number on my caller id & didn't pick up.  They left no message in Honolulu, the call was received at 10:17am.  If they were legit a message would've been left.

Just received the same suspicious call here in Hawaii.  The computerized voiced referenced my "First Hawaiian Bank account."  I don't have a FHB account so I knew that the call was bogus.  That plus the fact that the call came from the 212 area code!  It's now 7:18am Saturday

Mr. Curtis Arluck:

Just got a call from your number asking for credit card info.  You need to check on this.  The call came at 5:30 AM Honolulu time on Saturday, 10/30/10.  Something is wrong here.  Other calls to different people have been made from your number too.  See: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-212-643-0099

Received the call yesterday saying our debit card had been stopped, to press one to get it activated.  We pressed one and then another recording we hung up.
Called back and the connection was such you couldn't understand what they were saying.

I received an automated system message saying my Three Rivers Credit Union ATM card was inactivated due to an unauthorized use and to push "1" to speak to a representative about reactivating the account.  The problem is I do not have an account with Three Rivers Credit Union.  So, I hung up.  The caller ID showed 212-643-0099, The Metis Group.  A search showed this is a CPA firm in Manhattan.  Why would a CPA firm in New York City call about an account at a credit union in Indiana?
