Scam about Medical Alert.

I received a call from 212-660-5251 on 4 April 2012. The called was identified Caller ID as EASTWESTBANK. The caller left no message.

Just got two calls less than 2 minutes apart from this number. Caller ID shows the caller name to be East west Bank. There is a bank with that name in the city where I live, but this is not a 212 area code. Didn't answer because I don't answer numbers I  can't identify.

I heard from my friend that it was Jason from the iconic boyz #...?

i was told that it was jason from the icomic boys #...

LOL...I called it back...No longer in service...

he called, i didnt get to the phone in time tho, but i hope he calls again, im gonna have a funt ime screwing with this guy ^_^

Somebody called me from this # and looks like he has a african accent and he asked my name . When I asked what do u want, He hung up. when i called back this #, it is disconnected. really annoying in a Saturday evening.

I received a call from this number. I let him go on with his speech for a couple minutes and then I told him I'm not interested. He kept on going and I told him no several times. I then told him to remove my number from the list and he still kept going. I then asked for his supervisor/manager and he told me "what good would that do?" I knew I wouldn't get anywhere, so I hung up. 2 minutes later, he calls back. At this point I am getting angry. I answer and tell him I want to speak to his manager. He does nothing. I threw a few swear words in there and hung up. 2 minutes later...he calls back. Now I am very angry. I again ask to speak to his manager. Then he tells me to f*** off and then he hangs up. I hope I don't get a call from that a**hole again.!

Says it's disconnected  and would like them to stop place the cals to me.

got a call from this # also   same thing  some indian or who knows what origin
telling me that he had help for me in lowering my mortgage interest on my loan

haven't had a loan in over 10 years  OWN my home  and when I asked him how he got my
unlisted #  he said from a debt collecting company   there is NO debt and I pay for that unlisted
number and am on the DO NOT CALL list

The man had a foreign accent and mispronounce my last  name and I thought he was swearing at me. Lots of noise in the background. Could tell it was telemarketers. I just hung up and then called the # back and "the number you are dialing is not in service or disconnected" 5 seconds and I get this message. Hpow do they get away with this crap?

I get this same call from a 212 area code, it's an automatic dialer for a mortgage company wanting too lower your rates. I told them to remove my number but, It continues.

I received four (4) calls in a row from the above referenced number.  When I called back, the recording said that the number had been disconnected.

Always ask these idiots to provide a company Federal EIN (Employer Identification Number) or Tax ID number. If they are legit, they will have one. It is needed, even if they are offshore, they need one to do business in the United States. Also they have to be registered in every state that they do business in. So if they call you at home in your state, they should be registered in that state to do business with you.

HAHAHAHAHAHA...Just got a call from this same number... yea, some guy that spoke broken english refused to give me information about the company he represents until I gave him certain information... when I told him he was wasting his time because until I checked out the companies authenticity, the only information he was getting was the phone number he already had... then he called me a "fool" and hung up... hahahaha... obviously this is just another scam and he is the "fool"

Sounded like a Pakistani guy.  If the jerk calls back I will engage him with false information about "My Mortgage"

I'm on the DNC and they just called me.  I'm waiting and wasting their time since it's a nice evening and I had some computer work to catch up on anyway.

I am already on the DNC Registry- it doesn't stop them and reporting them does nothing either.. gl all

Got a call from this number and called it to see who called SINCE no voicemail.  It state the number had been disconnected so how did it call me????  So still don't know who called.

I get calls from them also, How did you know it was HSBC?

When they call, I keep saying Hello! Hello! as if I cannot hear them. They call back and I do the same thing. This number has not called back a 3rd time. It has worked with many other callers too. worth a try.

I have found the best way to get back at these scammers...or any other telemarketer that calls and wont stop.  When they call, let them say their peice, then ask them to hold.  lay down the phone and continue what youre doing for about 3 minutes.  Pick up the phone and say 'sorry, are you still there? and if they are, say "just one more minute" and put the phone down for another 5 minutes.
do this a few times, or until they hang up.  I had a mortgage guy call me, telling me I was an idiot for not wanting to save money, and refused to stop calling.   I did this to him a couple of times, and never heard from him again.   The first time I did it, he actually held for me for almost 20 minutes.  the second time too.  after the third time i asked if he was still there the second time and he was, i just said "what a dummy and hung up.  last I heard from him.

Keeps calling phone but does not leave a message

I get a call last four days...I tease him and make him think I really want to send them money ...I'm having fun with these w**kers....I should stop but I was bored wonder if they really ever get anybody dumb enuff to pay them?

It is irritating to get these calls - I was able to block them via my cell phone provider and the best you can do is report them to the national do not call register, as my cell has been listed on the register for over a year. Perhaps if enough people report it, they will get shut down. Go to the national do not call registry and file a complaint.

Just recevied a phone call on my cell phone from this number today.  Is this a scam?
